2. Multi tasking staff examination
2014
• Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC Multi
tasking staff examination 2014 and invites online application
of interested candidates, on- ssconline.nic.in and
ssconline2.gov.in. The exam will be conducted to determine
eligible candidates to fill vacancies under Multi tasking staff or
non technical jobs.
• As per the notification SSC MTS 2014 exam has total number
of 1267 vacancies to be filled via written examination and
Interview round. Candidates will have posts of: peon, guard,
gardener, etc. Upon getting selected the applicants will be
appointed in central government departments or the
subordinate offices. The selected candidates will be appointed
to central government departments mostly located in Delhi or
to other 9 Regional offices of the state.
3. Eligibility & Vacancies
• Eligibility: The SSC MTS recruitment needs
the candidate to have minimum 10th or
Matriculation qualification or be relevant
degree holders.
• Age Limit: Age of the applied candidate
should be between 18 and 25 as on January
1st 2014
• Pay scale: Rs 5200-20200 + Grade pay of
Rs 1800
• Total Government job Vacancies: 1267
4. SSC MTS 2014 Pattern &
Syllabus
• The exam will be taken in two parts. Paper I will be objective
type, whereas Paper II will have descriptive type questions.
The candidate will be selected on the basis of high score
obtained in both papers. After clearing Paper I and Paper II
both, the candidate will be called for the interview.
• Paper I will be an objective type paper of 2 hours which will
contain topics from various sections as General Intelligence
and reasoning, Numerical aptitude, General English and
General Awareness. The paper I will have 0.25 Negative
marking for each wrong answer.
• Paper II will be a descriptive type paper having questions
asking candidate to write short essay, English letter writing
etc. The paper will be of 30 minutes.
5. Application Fee and mode:
• INR 100 will be the cost of Application fee
that can be paid in both online and offline
both modes.
