  • @Active Network...absolutely, we do. I also agree with you that there is a cultural difference in the way we communicate. However, when marketing to non-US companies, we alter our approach.-- tailoring the tone of our messages to the audience we are addressing.

  • You would admit that in the US, email exchange don't start with Dear XX and end with Best regards! This is a common remark. Some culture are more direct that others on the way they interact with each other! We can't argue that...

  • @ Active Network...'American for example don't bother being corporately correct' is a fairly rude generality, especially when you infer that we have no principles. Perhaps you should take a look at your own biases?

    @ Abhishek Shaw...Thank you for the insight. I will be sending this through our sales and marketing teams so that we can examine the way we are addressing prospects in our emails. While we might not agree on every point, there is value here.
