1. Q1. Imagine you are preparing for a job interview. Answer the following questions in
writing (at least 300 words altogether):
1. What college subjects do you / did you like best? Why?
My favorite subjects are Programing C and Fourier analysis. I study Programing C in the
University of Aizu for the first time. In the beginning I thought that programming was
difficult. But, I became pleasant that the program written by me operates. I like
mathematics since I was in Junior high school. Solving a mathematical problem feels me
pleasant. So, I like to the Fourier analysis.
2. What is / was your greatest strength as a student?
My greatest strength as a student was how I studied and prepared for exams. I created a
system that helped me learn and memorize information and I always felt prepared for my
exams. I still use my study skills now to learn and remember people's names, positions in
the community, and other important info about them, which is important to remember, as
a social worker.
3. Why did you choose your major (what you study?
It is because I thought that a lot could be learned about a special field of study. I think it
good to learn shallowly widely. However, then, that of my strong point is not
made. Therefore, I chose the special subject, in order to make the strong point.
4. How do you handle stress and pressure?
I’m a music lover. I ignore the world, listening to music. I also like singing. Going to
karaoke with friends is very pleasant. It is feel great to sing favorite music. Reading is my
hobby too. Incorporating me into its understanding of the world is great. I do in this way
and handle stress and pressure.
5. What is your greatest weakness? How do you plan to overcome your weakness?
My greatest weakness is concentrating on one thing. So I get beyond caring about a
surrounding thing until one thing finishes. Therefor I think that I will take care of the
surroundings when there is necessity.
2. 6. What extracurricular activities (free time activities, interests, hobbies, clubs, etc.)
have you participated in?
I had participated in the volleyball club as extracurricular activities. Volleyball is a team
sport. I studied teamwork through volleyball. Patience was able to be studied
simultaneously with it. I think that this experience is certainly helpful in society.
