;tled
Deconstruc*on.
Upon
closer
inspec;on,
one
can
see
how
these
three
elements
are
interdependent
and
yet
counterac;ve,
a
mirror
of
how
socie;es
func;on.
He
lures
the
viewers
to
uncover
delighFul
details
in
his
prints
and
simultaneously,
urges
them
step
back
and
decode
the
larger
symbols,
which
in
a
sense
is
a
commentary
on
the
society
or
the
world
at
large.
Does
the
gas
mask
signify
human’s
innate
aggressiveness
or
simply
a
commentary
of
the
rapid
urbaniza;on
of
ci;es
in
China?
Does
the
ear
suggest
informa;on
overload
in
the
digital
age
or
the
more
sinister
Orwellian
state
of
affairs?
