2. As quoted by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Corona virus originates from
Coronaviruses (CoV) which causes diseases ranging from the common cold to more severe
ones such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory
Syndrome (SARS-CoV). As for the Coronavirus Novel (nCoV) is a new type that has not been
previously identified in humans.
Corona virus is a zoonosis, meaning that it is transmitted between animals and humans.
According to investigations that have been carried out, SARS-CoV is transmitted from civet
cats or better known as weasels to humans and MERS-CoV from camels to humans. However,
some Corona viruses are also known to circulate in animals that have not previously infected
humans.
On December 31, 2019, the WHO office in China was notified of a pneumonia case whose
cause was unknown detected in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Then on January 7,
2020 the Chinese authorities identified that the cause was a new corona virus (novel
coronavirus).
The outbreak in Wuhan was linked to the large seafood market and live animal market there,
given the way the corona virus spreads through animals. More and more patients have
reportedly not visited animal markets, which shows that it is spread from person to person.
Not only in China, cases of virus infection have also been reported in Italy, South Korea,
Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, the United States, France,
Indonesia, and many other countries (more than 100 countries). In Indonesia on March 2, 2020
the first positive case of COVID-19 was reported. And when this article was written, an
investigation is underway to learn more about this virus.

Earlier in 2003, corona virus caused 774 deaths due to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome
(SARS).

illness and even death in humans.

3. I deliberately chose the theme of Facts and Opinions about the COVID-19 outbreak to remind
me not to panic but to be vigilant against the corona virus. for example with the application of
social distancing, especially in the densely populated community, by carrying out social
distancing, the impact is by slowing the spread of the virus (Pravitri, 2020). besides that we
can also do a healthy lifestyle increasing public awareness to want to run a clean and healthy
life. This is so that the community can prevent and overcome health problems. Thus making
the body and mind fresher and the body healthier to avoid various diseases and corona
viruses (Wanda Azhar, 2020).
So I had to organize myself so that I could be protected from Coronavirus, by avoiding crowds
and doing physical distance. dr. Erni Juwita Nelwan, MD, FACP, FINASIM, With social
distancing it is hoped that the virus will not get closer to our bodies. Either through the droplet
or the surface of the objects attached to it, it is very important to break the chain of transmission
By Wearing a mask is considered an effective way to minimize the risk of transmission of a

By Having a healthy lifestyle is one way and lifestyle to maintain the health of the family
members. The benefits of an approved healthy lifestyle and our lifestyle well. in terms of diet,
exercise, and regular breaks so that the body and immune become healthy (Anjas Putri,2011).
Last time, at the very least, our bodies and our families must always, change your healthy
lifestyle from eating fruits and vegetables and consuming spices like turmeric, ginger and
vitamin C, increase endurance, and always wash your hands with water for 20 seconds so germs
in the hands disappear, with this you and your family will most likely be free of the corona
virus.
So there are many opportunities for us to be able to protect our families from COVID-19 in the
"New Normal" era, such as maintaining a healthy lifestyle by washing hands and not holding
eyes, mouth and nose when not washing hands and wearing cloth masks and gloves hands when
leaving home. so we can keep ourselves and our families safe from the corona virus.
