each country? 
Uzbekistan: 29,394,200 habitants 
Georgia: 4, 594.000 habitants

Name them in order, from the most 
popular to the least. 
 Uzbekistan: The nation is 90% Muslims, 5% 
Eastern Orthodox and 5% Jehovah's 
Witnesses. 
 Georgia: Today most of the population 
84.6% professes the cult of the Georgian 
Orthodox Church, Muslims represent 7.1%, 
the Armenian Apostolic Church around 
3.9%.

9.- What type of government system do they 
have? 
. Uzbekistan: Presidentialist Republic. The Government of 
Uzbekistan provides for freedom of expression and 
democracy. In reality, the executive holds almost all power. 
The judiciary not noted for its independence and parliament, 
which meets only a few days a year, has little power to give 
shape to laws. Islom Karimov, president of the country since 
1990. Re-elected for several times, each period has lasted 
five years in office. 
. Georgia: Semi-presidential republic. President Mikheil 
Saakashvili, governs from the November 17, 2013 
Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli. 
• The Executive Power is led by the President as head of 
government, who is elected for a five year period. His 
constitutional successor is the speaker of parliament.
