Introduction
Plantation inventory mapping is an effort to accurately inventories plantation
assets. Few of the important plantation assets are:

2. 1. Digital Orthophoto Mosaic
Choice of average ground resolution products from 5cm to 20cm at RGB or
color infrared output, delivered as JPEG 2000, ECW or other common format.
2. Feature Extraction and Geodatabase
All common GIS database features will be extracted and prepared in a
standard plantation GIS geodatabase model ready for your direct use.
3. Palm Counting
Our very high resolution DOM allow smaller palm to be identified with ease.
The extracted palm point can be further processed to obtain vital
information like total palm per block, average planting distance and available
supply points.
4. Digital Surface Model (DSM)
Our dedicated DSM software is able to produce a GIS ready DSM for various
plantation purposes. This software measure objects above ground level to
produce a surface model of earth. In many applications, DSM is sufficient to
meet the plantation requirement.
5. Digital Terrain Model (DTM)
DTM is obtained via stereo pair extraction to pin-point the ground elevation
model. Our photogrammetry workflow allows raw images to be processed to
obtain DTM. A properly configured DTM extraction exercise could produce
<1m vertical accuracy, this accuracy is ideal for lower cost DTM extraction
compare to LiDAR system.
