- Good morning! First of all thank you very much for joining this session. Every year we’ve a little internal battle about having the most participants in our breakout session and with >100 registrations for this session we did win this year Once again thank you very much! I’m very happy to be doing this session together with my colleague, MVP and collaboration specialist Thomas Vochten. For him, this kind of large sessions is a walk in the park, so that makes me also feel more comfortable this morning. But let’s get started.

Let us start with 3 small question to you: 1) Who in the room is already familiar with Microsoft Teams? 2) Who in the room is already familiar with the Mobile First experience of Microsoft Teams? 3) Who in the room is familiar with everyday AI (Artificial Intelligence) in Microsoft Teams, but also more in general Microsoft 365? Cool, let get it started.
- The time is now to adopt Teams in your enterprise.
- You are not alone. 2 weeks ago I joined Microsoft Ignite, the yearly customer & partner conference, and there were no less than 55 session dedicated on Microsoft Teams! And we also feel this momentum in the market analysis: the most recent figures from summer 2019 provided a daily active users count of +13 million. But do you now the daily active users count of Office? The active daily users count of Office = +200 million This means that there’s a great momentum with Microsoft Teams, but there’s even a bigger opportunity ahead of us
- Which are the challenges that we’re facing in today’s workplace: We’re spending to much time on email There’re a lot of interruptions/distractions during our workday Regain focus takes us up to 23 minutes Critical information gets lost in the information flow Searching information, sometimes fragemented over several platforms, takes us to much time

The iPhone really revolutionized our mobile experience and now 12 years later we cannot miss this mobile companion anymore. Let’s look at the Mobile First experience with Microsoft Teams.

- The effective meeting experience with Microsoft Teams is built on the BEFORE, DURING and AFTER meeting experience. BEFORE: schedule the meeting (private or in a channel) and start the conversation via chat, start collaboration on documents and presentations and provide attendees the possibility to review historie and context. WELL PREPARED MEETING DURING: during the meeting we will enable Video for more immersive conversations, BG Blur (or even virtual backgrounds) will make us feel more comfortable. Co-author on the documents during the meeting. Whiteboard together. Co-create the meeting notes and action items. Include everyone with live captions and subtitles, regardless of the language spoken and participate from anywhere like you are in the room. RICH MEETING EXPERIENCE AFTER: Review the meeting notes and track the assigned follo-ups (action points). Access Meeting recording and transcript for easy search on meeting content.
