Meet, assist and transfer in an air-conditioned coach to your hotel in
Cairo by our representative.
Commence a half day tour with an English Speaking Guide to the
Pyramids & Sphinx. Cheop’s Pyramid, the largest of the three was built
in the 4th dynasty about 2650BC., and is one of the Seven Wonders
of the Ancient World. In front of the Pyramid of Chephren, we find the
Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone, it is a lion with a pharaoh’s
head thought to be a portrait of the Pharaoh Chephren.
This evening enjoy a fabulous dinner cruise on the River Nile.

Day 2 – Cairo (Egyptian Museum / Sakkara) (B/D)
After breakfast, visit the famous Egyptian Museum, a warehouse of
Pharaonic treasure. Here among the many thousands of artefacts on
display, you will view Tutankhamun’s splendid treasures.In the after-
noon visit Memphis on the edge of the Western Desert, the capital of
the ancient Kingdom, and one of the most important cities throughout
the history of ancient Egypt. From here we drive to Sakkara, the vast
Necropolis of ancient Memphis.

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up for Old Cairo
with its Ancient Churches, then visit the Citadel, from which you get a
view over the whole city. A visit to Mohamed Ali’s Mosque is the next
stop before continuing to the Khan El Khalili Bazaars.

After breakfast we begin our day with a visit to Jerash, known as the
Pompei of the East. Jerash has been covered by sand for centuries,
the main reason why it’s still so well preserved. You will enter Jerash
through the monumental South Gate and find yourself wandering
around in a roman City. Next stop is Ajloun, an Islamic military castle
used by the Islamic armies of Saladin to protect the region against
the crusaders. The final stop is in Amman, where we visit the Citadel
featuring a spectacular view over the hills and valleys of the capital, the
temple of Hercules, the Ummayyad palace, a Byzantine church and the
archaeological museum.

Day 3 – Madaba / Mount Nebo / Kerak / Petra (B/D)
Today we start with a visit to Madaba famous for the unique mosaic
map of the Holy Land, which can be found in Saint George’s church
floor. Mount Nebo is the next stop. From here we see the place where
Moses looked over the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. That is the place
where Moses was seen for the last time; therefore we consider this
place as the burial place for Moses. If the sky is clear Jerusalem,
Jericho and Bethlehem will meet your eye at the other side of the Dead
Sea. From there we transfer to Petra with a visit to Kerak along the
way.

dian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple.
Continue to Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million Jews who
were killed in the Holocaust). In the afternoon drive to the picturesque
village of Ein Karem (the birth place of John the Baptist).
Day 4 – Jerusalem (Old City) / Bethlehem (B/D)
Today walk through one of the Gates to the walled Old City: the
renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall, the Temple area; the
colourful Bazaars; Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending
at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive on to Mount Zion and visit
the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition
Abbey. In the afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of
the Nativity.
Day 5 – Beit Shean / Tiberias / Galilee (B/D)
Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the
world. Through Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit Shean.
Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman City. Proceed
to Tiberias, the old centre of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores
of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient
synagogue.
Overnight in Tiberias.
Day 6 – Upper Galilee & Golan Heights / Nazareth (B/D)
Today we drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifica-
tions and the Druze villages, via Banias, source of the Jordan River.
Proceed via the Hula Valley to Safed, city of the Kabala to visit a syna-
gogue and the artists’ colony. Then on to Nazareth to visit the Christian
Holy Sites.
Overnight in Tiberias.
Day 7 – Acre / Haifa / Tel Aviv (B/D)
After breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old famous Crusader
stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, for a sight-
seeing tour of Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and
Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and the bay. Proceed
along the coast to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theatre and the Cru-
sader fortress. End the day with a short city tour of Tel Aviv.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Today we end our tour of Israel and transfer to the International Airport
for your final departure.

Day 1 – Istanbul
Istanbul by our representative.
Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 – Istanbul (Topkapi Palace/Blue Mosque/Hippo-
drome/Haghia Sophia/Grand Bazaar) (B/D)
After breakfast we begin our tour of Istanbul with Topkapi Palace. Blue
Mosque is the next stop, an architectural masterpiece. Blue Mosque is
one of the world’s great buildings with its six slender minarets gracing
the outside, while the interior is a sea of blue.
Then on to Hippodrome, Obelisk of Theodosius (The Egyptian obelisk)
and the Haghia Sophia. The massive dome and four elegant minarets
of Haghia Sophia rise above the Istanbul city for more than a millenni-
um, forming the most impressive silhouette on both Asia and Europe’s
sky.
We end the day with shopping at the Grand Bazaar. One of the largest
and the oldest shopping malls in the world. It offers a sea of choices
that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its local curios and souve-
nirs.
Day 3 – Gallipoli Tour/Canakkale (B/D)
Following breakfast, morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac
Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Chunuk Bair and Kabatepe War Museum,
then cross the Dardanelles to Canakkale.

Today we drive to Kusadasi. On the way to Kusadasi we will stop by
Pergamon for a visit which was one of the most beautiful cities of the
ancient world. Its architects and sculptors were amongst the finest in
the Hellenistic world. The majestic acropolis looms behind the modern
town. The places to be visited are Pergamon Acropolis with Temple of
Trojan, Hellenistic Barracks, Library, Temple of Athena, Theatre and the
Altar of Zeus. Then, we proceed to Kusadasi.
Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 5 – Kusadasi/Ephesus (B/D)
After breakfast visit Ephesus, one of the largest and most interesting
ancient cities of Asia Minor. It is considered to be the most fantastic
Greco-Roman site in Turkey. A visit to the house where The Virgin Mary
spent her last days, and the Temple of Artemis, which was one of the
Seven Wonders of the World. *It is also possible to visit the basilica of
St. John built around the grave of the Saint.
Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 6 – Kusadasi/Pamukkale (B/D)
Right after breakfast we will proceed to Pamukkale or “Cotton Castle”
– a magical and unique terraces and castles created by deposits of
white limestone from thermal spring. After Cotton Castle, we will visit
Hierapolis. Traditionally St. Philip is connected with the early church in
Hierapolis. Apostle Philip was martyred here and many Christian tombs
are found close to the ruins of the church of St. Philip.
Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 7 Pamukkale / Perge/Antalya (B/D)
Morning drive to Antalya, arrival at mid-noon, and pay a visit to the
ancient city of Perge. Followed by a relaxing afternoon by the Mediter-
ranean coast.
Overnight in Antalya.
Day 8 – Antalya (B/D)
ancient city or a lazy yacht cruise along the turquoise coast of the
Mediterranean.

Day 9 – Antalya/Konya (B/D)
After breakfast we will drive through Konya. The entire Konya basin
was a lake 18 thousand years ago .Over 10 thousand years ago, it had
drained to form a rich alluvial plain. Today its importance is as a place
of pilgrimage for Christians and Muslims.
En route visit the famous theatre in Aspendos. Visit Mevlana Mauso-
leum and Karatay Koran School.
Overnight in Konya.
Day 10 – Konya / Cappadocia (B/D)
Morning departure for Cappadocia, passing by the 13th century Agzi-
karahan Caravanserai, the land of Fairy Chimneys. We visit one of the
underground cities before we check in our hotel.

Day 11 – Cappadocia (B/D)
After breakfast, visit Goreme, Avanos, Pasabagi, Red Valley and have a
brief regional pottery workshop in a cave.

Day 12 – Cappadocia /Ankara (B/D)
After breakfast we drive to Ankara. Visiting the Antikabir, the eternal

tomb for himself but the adoration and respect shown to him by Turkish
people would never have allowed him to be buried in an ordinary place.

Day 13 – Ankara/ Istanbul (B)
After breakfast, we drive to Istanbul, approximately a 5.5 hour journey.
After arrival, free time at leisure.
Today we end our tour of Turkey and transfer to the International Air-
port for your final departure.

HOW TO BOOK: Complete the booking form or photocopy thereof
and mail to the address shown with the applicable deposit. The ac-
ceptance of all reservations are subject to the terms and conditions in
this brochure which forms a contractual relationship between Worldstar
Travel (WT) and its clients. It is imperative that all clients understand
bookings and travel arrangements are made by WT with the under-
standing that WT is in no way liable for default or omissions on the

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS: All reservations require an im-
mediate deposit of $500.00 per passenger and accompanied by a fully
completed, signed booking form forwarded to WT. Faxed copies of
the booking form will be accepted provided the required deposits are
subsequently received by WT within 7 days of the fax.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT: Payment of the balance of the tour cost
is required at least 65 days prior to departure. Should the balance not
be received by WT on the due date, WT reserves the right to treat the
booking as cancelled, and appropriate cancellation charges will apply.
AMENDMENT FEE : Where a client alters a confirmed booking in
any way, a fee of $50 per change, will be charged as an amendment
fee.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Strongly recommended. We can arrange a
group insurance starting from $188.00 per person, pending on length
and age of participant. This premium does not include any existing
medical condition, as this will need a special authorization.
CANCELLATIONS OR REFUND: Should a client cancel a booking
for any reason, the following cancellation fees apply:

3.Cancellation within 30 days prior to departure date -100% of the total

4. No refunds shall be made for any unused services i.e., accom-
modation, meals, entrance fees and/or sightseeing, after the tour has
departed. All cancellations must be in writing and the date of cancella-
tion will be taken as being the day that such written advice is received
by WT.
PRICES: The prices quoted in this letter are based on tariffs and
exchange rates applicable at the time of printing. These are subject to
change without notice, and any increase must be borne by the Client
at any time prior to departure, notwithstanding that deposits or full
monies may have been already paid. Acceptance of this arrangement
is an express condition of making a reservation. Alternatively the Client
may cancel subject to cancellation charges as per this brochure. Every
endeavour will be made by WT to ensure that accommodation, visits
and sightseeing as advertised, are available. However WT does not
accept responsibility if a particular visit or sightseeing cannot be ar-
ranged or specified hotel accommodation is unavailable and land
transport are altered or cancelled, resulting in consequent changes in
price. After departure, itinerary changes may occur because WT acts
only in the capacity of Agent for the Principals providing the hotels,
coach, and other services and shall not be liable for any claims
whatsoever arising from such changes.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All participants on the tour listed in this
brochure must be in possession of a valid passport with at least 6
months validity. WT does not accept responsibility for passengers who
fail to obtain correct documentation.
NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE: Unless advised differently by
WT, the tour price excludes credit card fees, excess luggage charges,
personal services and gratuities, laundry, drinks, Optional Tour, docu-
mentation, personal accident, medical expenses, incidental expenses
and all communication charges incurred on passenger’s behalf, and
any charges for recreation facilities, mini bar or other services provided
by any hotel.
TOUR DEPARTURE: WT has the right to recost or cancel the de-
parture of the Tour should the minimum number not reach 15 partici-
pants.
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION: All forms of transportation, ac-
commodation and other services are provided by independent third
parties and standards and conditions may vary. WT has no control
over such changes and makes no guarantee regarding this. Should
any independent third party, service provider, hotelier or carrier provide
different services to those expressly mentioned by WT, the Client
agrees to have no claim or cause of action whatsoever against WT.
CARE AND RESPONSIBILITY: WT will endeavour to take all
reasonable precautions to ensure that the Client obtains the travel,
accommodation and other associated services contracted by the
Client. WT understand the Booking Conditions described have been
read and understood by the Client, but accepts no responsibility for
any accident, damage, loss, injury, sickness, death, cancellation,
delay, detention, deviation, substitutions or other unforeseen event
unless caused by the negligent or willful act of itself or its employees.
Every endeavour has been made by WT to ensure that the contents of
this brochure are accurate at the time of printing and WT shall not be
under any obligation or be liable to any person for any loss or dam-
age suffered as a result of an inaccuracy or misperception contained
herein; or which may arise as a result of any changes in or withdrawal
of any price, detail or service appearing herein; or which is implied by
virtue of the said contents; or any accident, injury, delay or irregularity
caused by, or arising out of the provision or failure to provide any of

LAW OF CONTRACT: The contract shall be governed in all
respects by the law of the State of NSW and any legal action arising
under the contract shall be litigated only in the appropriate Court hav-

GENERAL HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: No vaccinations are
required for EGYPT. However please seek advice from the Department
of Health closer to the time of travel to ascertain current health require-
ments for travel to other countries you may plan to visit.
VISA REQUIREMENTS: Visa is required for Egypt. Cost for a single
entry is $40.00 and for multiple entry is $50.00 plus $10.00 handling
fee per person. Applications will be forward to you to be completed
and send back to us with a photo for processing.
TEMPERATURE: Temperatures may vary considerably between
Cairo and Aswan. Please refer to our web site for average temperature
in the different cities of Egypt. NOTE: Light cotton garments and
good walking shoes are recommended. We always recommend that
tap waters not to be used. Mineral water bottles are available
everywhere.
