2. BILLIONS ARE BEING INVESTED IN ED TECH
HOPING TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS
• The investments made to learning technology companies in 2015 were the highest
in the history of the learning technology industry by an extraordinary margin. In
2015, global investments made to learning technology companies reached over
$6.54 billion, up dramatically from the previous records of $2.42 billion in 2014
and $1.64 billion in 2013.
• But the problems have (investors are not seeing a ROI or ed tech companies are
losing money) not been solved and investors are losing money
• Why?
• more than 700 companies offering the same business models
• Because the important problems that need solving are not being solved
• Skills gap is costing more than $19 trillion globally, including you
unemployment and business (ref)
• Lack of interest and motivation in education
• Education is not resolving the skills gap and needs to be reformed
• People understand e learning is not solving the problems and are looking
for the next thing

5. THE VIVAGOGY SOLUTION
McKinsey say
‘Why are the three major stakeholders not seeing the same thing? In large part, this is because they
are not engaged with each other. One-third of employers say they never communicate with
education providers; of those that do, fewer than half say it proved effective. Meanwhile, more
than a third of education providers report that they are unable to estimate the job-placement rates
of their graduates. Of those who say they can, 20 percent overestimated this rate compared with
what was reported by youth themselves. Nor are youth any better informed: fewer than half say
that when they chose what to study they had a good understanding of which disciplines lead to
professions with job openings and good wage levels.’
The Vivagogy Solution is
• A business model which profitably meets the needs of all stakeholders
• Creates a paradigm shift in thinking
• An information system which translates the output of education and the input employment
• One system for learning and recruitment to monitor potential employees and link them with
data, skills and jobs
• A way to records formal and informal learning and measures it against job skills or preformance
objectives in real time
• Which creates a database of learners, content, jobs, job market data

when they are looking for a job
• Access to our profiling tools and database are sold to employers saving them money
in the training and recruitment process
• The recruitment industry is disintermediated and value added to the process
