William has served as Director of Finance for Redlands-Yucaipa Guidance Clinic since 1993. When the previous Director of Finance quit suddenly, William stepped up to assume the duties himself to prevent financial risks to the clinics. He demonstrated strong leadership, drive, determination and teamwork. After being called to active duty in 2001, William insisted his position be filled so the organization would not suffer during his absence. The executive director recommends William for a senior finance position based on his outstanding financial and management skills.

Re: Letter of Recommendation W. Van Noy
To Whom It May Concern,
William has served as Director of Finance for Redlands-Yucaipa Guidance Clinic since January,
1993. He began as an accounting technician and excelled in his duties and responsibilities. Soon
after William came on board, our Director of Finance suddenly quit leaving the organization
quite vulnerable. Without being asking or approached, William took it upon himself to assume
the duties of the Finance Director so as to ensure the clinics were not at risk financially.
His professionalism, drive, determination and “team” mentality greatly influenced other staff to
perform at an exceptionally high level.
After 9/11/2001 William’s selflessness enabled the organization to move forward. He was called
to active duty in October, 2001 and insisted that we fill his position so the organization did not
suffer from his absence. He will be greatly missed.
William is a leader, a mentor and a team player along with having outstanding financial analysis
and financial management skills.
I would definitely recommend William Van Noy for a senior level finance position within any
organization lucky enough to secure his services.
Warm Regards,
Mary L. Trost, MBA
Executive Director RYGCA
