2. Pre-production• I am making promotional material for a docufilm focusing on Monty Oum,
the person chiefly responsible for the creation of RWBY, one of my
favourite web series. The promotional material will consist of a trailer and
some posters (one to three) for the film, which will be titled 'Indomitable'
• The reason I want to do this project is because I'm a fan of RWBY (and
Monty Oum's works such as Dead Fantasy and Haloid), and wanted to pay
tribute to him and his legacy in some way (as Monty died in early 2015 of
an allergic reaction), and found that this FMP was the best way to do that.
• This docufilm would be for fans of Rooster Teeth (the company that
produce RWBY), which has a target audience of teens to young adults.
RWBY is aimed at a slightly younger target audience (such as young teens),
but since the docufilm will be about the creator of RWBY and not the show
itself, I'm not sure that this will matter.
• Audiences will see this trailer on YouTube (as most modern movie trailers
are seen nowadays), and the posters for the movie would also be seen
online, along with (potentially) the posters being posted up at cinemas
while the docufilm is playing.

3. Pre-production:
Some of the things I'm going to collect for the purposes of the production of my
docufilm trailer, such as compilations of footage of Monty Oum (there's footage of
him playing Dance Dance Revolution circling around the Internet, and there has
been for several years now), music from the series he worked on (specifically
RWBY*). The music is for the fans of RWBY, as the music that plays will be either the
original version of the opening theme of RWBY Volume 1, or a potential remix of said
opening theme that was featured in RWBY Volume 2. Possibly even both.
The footage will take up a lot of the docufim trailer (interspersed with footage of the
first two Volumes of RWBY, Dead Fantasy and Haloid), and the music (changing from
the acoustic remix of This Will Be the Day to be the original, more rock-like, version
of the song).
*RWBY is an anime-style web series created by
Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth. The series
premiered in 2013 and has gone on to have six
seasons (or Volumes), a comedy spin-off series
(known as RWBY Chibi), several manga series,
two video games and a young adult novel.

9. Poster Ideas
My idea for my 'Indomitable' movie poster is to have a vertically-
bisected picture of Monty Oum on one side of the poster, and a
vertically-bisected picture of Ruby Rose (the main character of the
anime web series RWBY) on the other side of the poster, with the
title of the movie (Indomitable), a quote from Monty himself, and
the movie's release date (2020) around the middle of the poster.
At the top right is a rough idea of what the poster would look like.
Another idea for my 'Indomitable' movie poster is
that it could be a large picture of Monty Oum's face
and body, sideways on, and have an image of
something related to him (such as RWBY, Rooster
Teeth as a whole, Dead Fantasy, Haloid, a potential
quote from him, or something else entirely
The closest example I can find of my idea is the
poster for the Russell Crowe movie 'The Next Three
Days'.
