1. National Service Manager – New Zealand

Due to further expansion and increased business activities we are looking for a
Service Manager to run our technical department.
This is a hands on role based from our office in North Harbour, Auckland. The role
will require the ability to travel (nationwide) to our customers for pre-installation site
surveys, installations, commissioning, maintenance and break downs as well as
scheduled servicing when required. Take ownership of projects, technicians,
contractors and customer's sites across both islands.
Key Objective:
Expand Company Service/Parts presence with existing and new customers,
promote Vemag New Zealand as a leading supplier of Food Processing and
Packaging Equipment, and Spare Parts. Provide superior customer service.
Duties:
Accomplish Service targets of 20hrs paid service per week for each service
technician.
Organise work schedules for all service technicians.
Effective management of the day to day activities of all service technicians.
Ensure service technicians have access to supplier technical people when
required.
Mentor service technicians to improve their skill both technical and customer
relationships.
Ensure service reports are presented for prompt invoicing to customers.
Ensure technicians complete service reports to an acceptable standard.
Ensure all customer reports are presents and completed in a timely manner.
Organise product and technical training for technicians when required.
Ensure quotes for service work are completed and presented to customer in
a timely manner.
Ensure technicians have adequate training to allow them to complete their
tasks effectively.
Ensure customers are informed on progress of breakdown repairs, times to
complete servicing, progress of installs of new equipment.
Manage any issues a customer may present to you with regards to the
performance of the technician, performance of equipment supplied.
Develop and promote Service Agreements with customers.
2. Maintain a data base of all customer machine details, service schedules,
breakdown history, customer recipes/settings of machines
Work with customers to proactive with servicing of their equipment.
Ensure service technicians maintain a professional appearance and attitude
to the business and to the customer at all times.
Additional duties maybe added to the role over time
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:
Electrical qualifications, minimum valid EST license
Mechanical/maintenance engineering skills
Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus
