WE ARE!
The project
The main objective is to promote volleyball as a
grassroots sport, accessible for everyone.
The project proposes the implementation of series of
activities meant to support the volleyball lovers to
learn the secrets of this sport.
The financing
The project is financed through the
European Solidarity Corps programme,
volunteering projects' action.

ACTIVITIES Each action within CEF-E contributes to the realization of a Project of
Common Interest (PCI), which is a pan-European energy infrastructure
project identified in advance
Eligible PCIs are key infrastructure projects, especially projects linking
the energy systems of EU countries
The list of projects is renewed every 2 years allowing the integration of
new projects and the elimination of those that have been completed or
considered impossible
These projects can benefit from procedures accelerated licensing,
improved regulatory conditions and access to financial support totalling
โ‚ฌ 5.85 billion from CEF between 2014 and 2020
Projects involves power transmission lines, gas pipelines, storage
projects electricity, underground gas storage projects, LNG terminals and
smart grid
It contributes to the implementation of the Trans-European Transport
Network (TEN-T) through funding key projects to modernize
infrastructure and remove existing bottlenecks, while promoting

CET TRANSPORT
These projects cover all EU Member States and all means of transport
(road, rail, sea, inland waterways), and supports innovation in transport,
logistics and innovation
Supports trans-European networks and infrastructures that complement
the missing links in the telecommunications sector in Europe, for 2014-
2020 being allocated a budget of โ‚ฌ 870 million for trans-European
digital services
Supports projects facilitate cross-border interaction between public
administrations, businesses and citizens through implementation of
digital service infrastructures (DSI)
The overall goal is to create a European ecosystem of interoperable
digital services that makes the single market to work in practice

Participants can volunteer abroad or in their country of residence
The costs of accommodation and food are covered; participants also
receive a small allowance for personal expenses
VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES
Any public or private organisation from a European Union Member State
holding a Quality Label (volunteering, traineeships and jobs)
Groups of young people registered in the ESC Portal (solidarity projects)
Traineeshipsย โ€“ full-time work practice, between 2 and 6 months

They are paid for by the hosting organisation

integrity monitoring for users of security applications in accordance with
international standards
Providing a "commercial service" (called "Commercial Service" or CS),
which allows the development of applications for professional or

Providing a "regulated public service" ("Public Regulated Service" or PRS)

To research and innovate in many fields of actions
AIM
BENEFICIARIES For standard research projects: a consortium of at least 3 legal entities
Each entity must be established in a state EU member state or in an
associated country
For other programs (European Research Council, instrument for SMEs,
co-financing of calls for proposals or programs national or public sector,
coordination and support, training and mobility); the minimum condition
for participation is that a legal entity be established in a Member State or
an associated country
ACTIVITIES
Research and innovation actions: funds research projects that clearly
address defined challenges and that they can lead to the development of
new knowledge or new technologies
Innovation actions: financing is more focused on activities closer to the
market like prototyping, demonstrations, pilot projects, large-scale
validation and so on if the projects aim at the realization of new or
improved products or services
Coordination and support actions: finances the coordination and linking
of projects, programs and policies research and innovation. Funding for
research and innovation itself is covered by another sections
Grants for frontier research - European Research Council: finances
projects evaluated on the basis of the unique criterion of scientific
excellence in any field carried out by a single national or multinational
research team led by a "chief researcher"
Support for training and career development - Marie Skล‚odowska-Curie
Actions: Funds international research grants in the public or private
sector, research training and staff exchanges
The SME tool: SMEs with a high innovation potential, which have set out
to develop growth potential. The instrument provides lump sums for
feasibility studies, grants for the main stage of an innovation project
(demonstrations, prototyping, testing, application development, etc.).
The marketing stage is indirectly supported by facilitation access to
credit instruments and equity
