end of the acquisition. The MPPS trans-
action is sent to the (PACS). This transac-
tion carries information about procedure
performed by the modality equipment
during acquisition. MPPS helps ensure
the accuracy and completeness of in-
formation, as it enables the acquisition
of erroneous and unplanned data to be
signaled by the acquisition modality,
