SCHEDULE & BALANCING GROUP MANAGEMENT
These features of Periotheus support you in all aspects of schedule management, beginning with creating business data and its aggregation, to accoun-
ting and nominating transports with system operators (TSOs).
Periotheus serves as a central data hub for all types of market-related communication and messages from all processes related to the energy industry.
This comprises trading schedules, SSO and TSO nomination, balancing group management messages, execution of switch processes and more. The
incoming and outgoing messages are clearly displayed in a communication centre and can be filtered according to various criteria and be processed
automatically. The status of the schedules is shown using an intuitive traffic light system.
The cross-market solution covers all common European markets, allowing power and gas to be displayed in their various formats in one single system.
All common European schedule formats and markets are supported by Periotheus by default – D, A, CH, F, I, NL, B, GB, CZ, HU, RO, TR, ...
Schedule management can be automated to any extent, right up to fully automated operation, which only requires user interaction in exceptional cases.
Therefore, for example, in the case of a mismatch, the person on duty can be informed immediately by SMS or email. Furthermore Periotheus can
automatically process ACK, ANO and CNF messages.

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
The detailed reproduction of money and energy flows supports you optimally in operating your power and gas portfolios and gives an aggregated
view of all contracts with the respective resultant costs, revenues and open positions.
Based on this information trading and procurement always can keep track of the company’s contracts and deals.
Portfolio management allows all energy contracts to be structured in a clear and customisable book and portfolio structure. The respective market struc-
tures (control areas, accounting grids, etc.) can be reproduced and be represented by as many partial portfolios as you wish, e.g. to separate private
and business customers or for sales quantities from special contract customers.
Achieve maximum diversification in various markets, such as spot, futures or balance energy markets.
Open positions can be closed automatically by the system according to adjustable criteria and allowing for restrictions or transport capacities. Using
internal transactions, the system additionally allows you to transfer quantities between individual portfolios.
With the help of the extensive reporting features of Periotheus all entered and calculated data can be evaluated and sent either automatically or at the
touch of a button.

POWER PLANT MANAGEMENT
Allows you to utilise your power plant complexes as efficiently as possible. Periotheus Power Plant Management makes it possible to structurally display
a complete power plant complex and to fully automatically reuse the data obtained. All power plant types, whether powered by renewable energy or
fossil fuels, can be displayed with a high level of detail. Power plants can be depicted as detailed as you wish and both availabilities and the production
capacity can be aggregated.
Optimal integration into existing management systems (e.g. Periotheus Schedule Management) is also provided, as well as the possibility of integration
into in-house control and optimisation systems. In addition to Power Plant Management, VisoTech offers ideal tools to conduct short-term marketing of
available production capacities with the AutoTrader and the EPEX SPOT interface.
In connection with our partner, the marketing of generation portfolios in various markets (day ahead, intraday & control energy) can be optimised.
The generation portfolios can consist of conventional thermal or hydroelectric power plants or can also represent a virtual power plant with wind and
photovoltaic facilities. The results are again assigned to the planned generation of the power plant in connection with an optimisation run. Transactions
and nominations can be executed on this basis.

Periotheus offers you reliable support for all types of transactions in the energy industry. Placing bids on spot markets is supported, as is trading with
derivatives in the form of options and futures. Even non-standard transactions can be displayed in the system. Market data and the resultant price
formulas are administered in the system and can be used for analyses and metric calculations. Relevant metrics, such as market to market, value at risk
and profit & loss are calculated ad hoc or at the end of the day. Periotheus of course also supports regulatory reporting according to EMIR and REMIT.
The metrics ascertained facilitate the continuous monitoring of the transaction processes in combination with the many evaluative and reporting functions
of the system. Potential opportunities and risks can be observed and assessed. The system subsequently helps the user to take the most efficient counter
measures and to minimise the risk or recognise and detect opportunities early, for example by completing trade transactions. This occurs whilst taking
Price Forward Curves into account, which can be calculated for various markets and commodities directly by the system. Thanks to the integrated
contractant risk, Periotheus gives you an overview of your counterparty‘s liquidity risks at all times.

EPEX AUTOTRADER
The EPEX autoTRADER provides you with fully automated intraday power trading on EPEX SPOT and therefore allows you to optimally market your
power plant complexes and energy storage facilities or to cover open customer positions. Transactions are distributed as evenly as possible within the
trade period and thus the average price, depending on the transaction, is undercut or outbid. Consequently the autoTRADER contributes to maximising
profit by achieving the largest possible spread on the exchange.
Trade with the autoTRADER on EPEX also outside of your regular business hours or help your traders to achieve even better prices. This is above all due
to the great speed advantage, as the autoTRADER can trade all positions simultaneously within milliseconds.
The autoTRADER acts according to the strategy (algorithm) defined by the user. Parameters can be defined for each product, which are factored in by
the autoTRADER. This makes it possible to adjust strategies at any time in order to react to market changes. The integrated limit management prevents
transactions at extreme price settings or quantity fluctuations. The proactive email or SMS notifications keep the person responsible up to date.

6. Since 1999 VisoTech has offered innovative software solutions for dis-
