Introduction
• Job satisfaction is defined as the extent to which an
employee feels self-motivated, content & satisfied with
his/her job. Job satisfaction happens when an
employee feels he or she is having job stability, career
growth and a comfortable work life balance.
• A feeling of fulfilment or enjoyment that a person
derives from their job.

Employers’ Role In Job Satisfaction
The factors contributing to job satisfaction of course
vary depending on the workplace and the preferences of
individual employees, but a few key points of focus can
help employers cultivate and maintain a supportive
encouraging, and congenial office atmosphere:

• Safe And Positive Work Environment
• Autonomy

Workers' Roles in Job Satisfaction
If job satisfaction is a worker benefit, surely the worker
must be able to contribute to his or her own satisfaction
and well-being on the job. The following suggestions

job.
• Job satisfaction can prevail in an organization only
when there is planning, cooperation and efforts by both
management and workers.
• To conclude, we can say that job satisfaction results
from the employee’s perception that the job content
and context actually provide what an employee values
in the work situation. And Organizationally speaking,
high level of job satisfaction reflects a highly
favourable organizational climate resulting in
attracting and retaining better workers.
