2. Introduction
Breast cancer
Is a disease in which cells in the breast grow out
of control. Chemotherapy is an important part of
patient treatment of this disease.
p53 protein
The p53 protein plays an important role in the
control of cell division and destruction.
3. Introduction
BAG2
BAG2 is a protein that serves as a
mediator of the molecular chaperone
HSP90/HSC70, which could cancel
the degradation of misfolded
substrate proteins.
4. General Objective
”We here aimed to explore the
mechanism for the generation
of mutant p53 aggregates in
breast cancer and assess its
role in inducing
chemoresistance”.
5. Materiales y métodos
Tinción de inmunofluorescencia (IF)
mutante
10. Conclusions
Further research leading to an understanding of the
mechanisms of mutant p53 aggregate formation and the role
they play in chemoresistance is needed for effective
treatment of breast cancer.
Further studies on chemoresistance and what other factors
may be involved in it should be carried out so that measures
can be generated to counteract or deal with these factors.
