MISTREATMENT ON EMPLOYEE IN
TATA MOTORS
• Tata Motors is staring at the possibility of reporting its highest
annual standalone loss this fiscal after posting Rs 2,123-crore
net loss for the third quarter ended December.
• Its consolidated net profit, which includes Jaguar-Land Rover,
for the quarter had fallen 26% year-on-year to Rs 3,581 crore.
• Citing a tough macroeconomic environment and the
company's own performance, Tata Motors said the VRS was
part of its initiative to improve competitiveness.
• The number of people accepting VRS is expected is higher at
older plants in Jamshedpur.
 
CONFLIT ON EMPLOYEE IN TATA MOTORS
 Tata expects a slow global recovery in 2012 and has
suggested group companies to review and moderate
their future projections.
 Pursue reductions in manufacturing and process costs of
products to combat
 Tata said “2011 turbulent for the world.”
