MISTREATMENT ON EMPLOYEE IN TATA MOTORS • Tata Motors is staring at the possibility of reporting its highest annual standalone loss this fiscal after posting Rs 2,123-crore net loss for the third quarter ended December. • Its consolidated net profit, which includes Jaguar-Land Rover, for the quarter had fallen 26% year-on-year to Rs 3,581 crore. • Citing a tough macroeconomic environment and the company's own performance, Tata Motors said the VRS was part of its initiative to improve competitiveness. • The number of people accepting VRS is expected is higher at older plants in Jamshedpur.
