4. THE BEE
I brought in a real bee for the children to observe and to provide them
with the ability to have a hands on experience with what I was teaching.
5. STAGES OF A BEE PUZZLE
I created this puzzle to have the children develop the
understanding of the stages of the bee. Because the children
were so young I made the puzzle self-correcting, therefor
enforcing the correct answers and providing consistency.

7. HONEY BAR CHART
For this activity the children were
able to sample two different types
of honey. They then decided which
honey they liked best and put their
bar on the graph.

9. BEE HIVE ART PROJECT
The students used potato stamps
to create a bee hive.
