B. Brief Resume
A conscientious worker offering 7years work experience with a bank, UNGUKA
BANK Ltd, in different post as (Loan officer, Operations officer, loan analyst,
Accountant and Branch manager) in their branches and head office.
Unguka Bank Limited is a microfinance bank, created on 30th
January 2005 as
microfinance institution, starting only two branches and their head office, by now
Unguka bank Ltd is present in tree (3) provinces plus Kigali city and in 11 districts 9
of them out of Kigali city through 19 branches and one outlet.
I possess a Bachelor’s degree in Management. This entails education and extension
experience, honesty commitment to duty and ability to interact with people of
different opinions and cultural backgrounds.
C. Professional Working Experience
1. From 01 January 2016- up to date : I am working as Account at Head
office
Key responsibilities,
 Follow daily accounting operations of the Branches;
 Follow the production of financial reports of the Bank;
 be sure the daily reconciliation of the accounts;

 Ensure the ranking of accounting documents;
 Participate in the periodic production of the financial statements of the bank;
 Follow the banking operations management of the respective branches;
 Produce periodic reports;
 Perform other tasks assigned by his supervisor.
2. From 01 October 2012- up to 31 Dec 2015 : nominated as Branch
manager/Ngororero and Ruhango Branch
Key responsibilities;
 Develop, implement and monitor the business plan of the branch
 Delivery of agreed business targets and accountability for branch objectives
 Analyse the monthly financial situation of the branch and adopt remedial measures if
necessary
 Building and developing a high performing team through competence development
performance management and embedding core values
 Delivery of excellent customer service through maintenance of high service standards
 Ensuring observance of both credit and operational risk compliance in all branch lending
and operations service
 Ensure and personally supervise the implementation and compliance with policies,
procedures, instructions and standards of good management which are in place
 Effectively managing and coordinating branch resources
 Manage staff performance, coach and develop staff by identifying their training needs
 Increase Bank's visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities
 Work with management in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the branch;
provide input to these objectives and to the manner in which performance will be measured
and controlled
 Ensure that all sales and customer service reporting information is provided on a timely
basis
 Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank’s lending and credit policies and answers
customer questions as appropriate; takes loan applications; approves or rejects loan
applications within individual lending authority
 Maintain records and prepare required monthly reports
3. From 05April 2012- 30 September 2012 :I am working as loan analyst at
the Head office of UNGUKA BANK Ltd.
Key responsibilities
 Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in
extending credit or lending money
 Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
 Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data,
payment history, and purchase activity.
 Confer with credit association and other business representatives to exchange credit

 Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and
submit to loan committees for approval
 Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers' financial status
 Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts
for collection
 Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with
those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.
 Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions
4. From January 2012-march2012: I am working as Responsable de
guichet/Nyarugenge (Kigali City Market)
 Supervise the day to day operational functions of the branch
 Maintain high customer service standards
 Resolve customer service issues
 Review daily reports
 Ensure staff is following UB's policies and procedures
 Meet deposit growth goals
 Identify and mitigate operational risk

 Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in receiving and paying out money
and keeping records of transactions
 Trains employees in customer service and banking procedures
 Approves checks for payment
 Adjusts customer complaints
 Examines Tellers' reports of daily transactions for accuracy
 Consolidates and balances daily transactions
 Monitor and review UB's security procedures and control access to vault
 Count and record currency and coin in vault
 Receive and respond to customer service account inquiries on account balances, transaction
details, statements and fees and charges
 Open new accounts/Closing accounts

UNGUKA BANK Ltd (Nyabugogo Branch);
Key responsibilities;
 Explain eligibility and credit conditions, procedures and necessary documentation to
applicants
 Provide written information about the conditions of the loan types available and the loan
application forms to potential applicants and to conduct a preliminary assessment of
applications
 Arrange and conduct interviews with applicants and, for business loans, carry out field visits
for applicants who satisfy the preliminary assessment
 Check the credit worthiness of applicants
 Check the applicant’s collateral
 Evaluate applications on the basis of information submitted and compiled,
and subsequently to prepare recommendations for the Credit Manager
 Ensuring that the credit taken out is used effectively for as it was
originally intended
 Gather information and submit required reports
