History of Augmented Reality
1968 - Ivan Sutherland developed the first head mounted display which used
computer-generated graphics to show simple wireframe drawings.
1998 - The first Virtual Yellow first down marker during a live NFL game was
broadcast by 1 & ten line computer system.
2014 - Google announces shipment of Google Glass devices for consumers
and thus, began the trend of wearable AR.
2016 - Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality investment reaches $1.1 billion
and still growing.

Virtual Reality

Mixed Reality ?

Virtual Reality is..
The use of computer technology to
create a simulated environment.
Whereas in AR, an enhanced version
of reality created by the use of
technology to add digital information
on an image of something.

Mixed Reality (MR)
Mixed reality (MR)—sometimes
referred to as hybrid reality—is the
merging of real and virtual worlds to
produce new environments and
visualisations where physical and
digital objects co-exist and interact
in real time.
