Chaubas is lying east of Dolalghat/Sunkoshi River and Wada no.4 of Bhumlu Rural Municipality, Kavre. It is interesting to place of hiking and 360-degree site viewing including top of the world, Gaurishankar, Rolawaling, Jugal, Dorjelakpa Glacier, Langtang, and Manaslu Himal. However, Chasubas is the roof of Bhumlu RM and it has been 40% Community forest manmade and natural.It should be utilized for tourism activities.

The subtropical climate
Elevation range of 280 meters to 3018 meters (Bethanchok
Narayanthan Danda)
The district consists of 13 Municipalities, out of which six
are urban municipalities and seven are rural municipalities
According to CBS, 2068, the total number of household is
80,720 with total population of 381,937 including the number of
male 182,936 (47.90%) and female is 199,001 (52.10%). The adult
literacy percentage is 62.77% and per capita income $1399.
Popular touristic destination ; Dhulikhel, Panauti,
Namobuddha, Balthali, Dolalghat and so on.
Kavrepalanchok district has great potential in raising its

Total households 529, total population 2501 and literacy
percentage is 78.72% (according to Bhumlu RM profile 2075 BS)
Cultural: Tamang and Pahari , Chhetri, Darjee and so on.

28. Recommendation
Following points are recommended to support and achieve tourism benefits:
Local level tourism development plan must be formulated with participation of local
people, tourism stakeholders and private sectors by the concerned authorities.
Sustainable tourism development methods should be followed during tourism
development of the Chaubas Village.
Skill development and training program must be launched to increase tourism skills
and awareness of tourism.
View point should be developed at various place of study area, local museum, and
Agri-tourism family farms with homestay concept should be established.
Waste bins along the road side as well as hiking and trekking route, should be
established in study area.
Prohibitory signboards must be established in appropriate locations to control illegal
activities, pollutions and information on Do’s and Don’ts boards must be hanging.
A cyber and communication center and tourist information center must be
operated.
Effective promotion and marketing strategy must be developed including product
development and product formulation strategy with promotional materials and
marketing tools.
Chaubas tourism management mechanism must be set up for systematic and result
oriented tourism development, operation and its administration concerned with
sustainable tourism development plan.
