His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and was completed in
2010 and opened to patients in June 2011.

UHS has the latest digital cath labs are biplane (have two X-ray sources) and digital,
flat panel labs, enabling us to get a more accurate and detailed view of the heart.
• Launched earlier this year, initially with five dialysis machines, the unit will eventually house
12 stations that will be able to treat 24 patients daily in two shifts.
• A major step forward in meeting the challenge posed by the growing incidence of renal
failure in the UAE
• The UAE has made it mandatory that all new-born children should be screened for
hearing loss.
• UHS has Cochlear Implant Unit as well as Hearing Aid Clinic, offering a “one-stop
