I am a hard core professional with high energy levels and natural flair for Sales & marketing. I
have a total experience of 18 years+ of working with govt. and corporate houses majorly in the
domains of sales & distribution, liaison and client servicing. Over these years, I have worked both
individually and with team to cater government, corporate and retail clients.
Being a result oriented sales professional, I take the complete ownership of business and put-in
my best efforts to realize organizational goals. Now, I wish to join some professional
organisation, which offers me exposure and growth while utilizing my skills, experience and

WORK EXPERIENCE
May 2015 to till date:
I am doing liaison work as a freelancer and do cater clients in Outdoor Media industry. I
undertake total responsibility of getting outdoor media of my clients listed with various Govt.
Organisations and Corporate Houses and also follow-up to procure orders from them for their
media. Now, I wish to take-up a responsible job in some corporate again and move ahead in life.
July 2014 to April 2015
I worked as Head-North with Venus Communications, a veteran outdoor media advertising
agency based at Lucknow, involved in brand promotion activities and communication, especially
in rural areas. In this assignment, I had been based at Delhi and coordinated business with the

clients and also explored new business for Venus Communications. This was the shortest stint of
my work life, as their main project with Family Health International (FHI) India, a USA based
NGO, got terminated almost one year before the scheduled time.
Venus Communications is one of the most preferred outdoor advertising agencies of India under
BTL category and it has strong presence in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar,
Jharkhand, Orissa, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. It provides following
services in rural and urban areas:
1. Folk show, Magic show, Street Play, Road show, puppet show, interactive shows with
especially designed questionnaires, games, etc. to keep the crowd interested in the
activities meant for the business promotion of our clients.
2. Promotion vans fitted with P.A. System to showcase clients’ brand through audio visuals
3. Wall painting/branding on walls of houses and dhabas visible on national highways
4. In-shop branding through dealer flex board, glow sign boards, etc.
January 2009 to June 2014
I worked as General Manager (Operations) with Greenline, a veteran and leading Out of Home
(OOH) Media Advertising Agency based at New Delhi, which owned sizeable outdoor media
inventory in Delhi & Punjab and also handled national campaigns for its various clients regularly.
Role and responsibilities
I undertook complete responsibility of business on vendor side i.e. liaison, sales both Govt.
and Corporate and Business Development while coordinating with Agencies and also worked
closely with GLO, the Advertising Agency of Greenline. Following is a brief of works done by me;
 Liaison with govt. departments for day to day issues and new projects
 Govt. sales i.e. sourcing business from Govt. Departments for display of their
Advertisements on DAVP approved rates
 Market media display sites of Greenline among Advertising Agencies and direct clients
 Client servicing
– Ensure timely and proper display of our clients’ advertisements and arrange for the
day/night photographs
– Arrange recce (physical observation) of the sites displayed for our clients across India
 Source new display sites for enhancement of our media inventory.
 Participate in tenders floated by Govt. and private organisations for creation of media at
their property.
From January 2007 to November 2008
I joined Anand Rathi, a leading broking house in Financial Services Industry as a ‘Relationship
Manager-Distribution’ in January 2007 at Hyderabad and got promoted as an “Assistant Sales
Manager-Distribution” in April, 2008 along with only one of my 10 counterparts.
Role and Responsibilities
I had been overall in-charge of my team’s business and an independent profit centre. My team
comprised of Relationship Managers (RMs) and Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs).

As ASM-Distribution, I used to report the Regional Director (South) and had been solely
responsible for the cost & revenue of my Team. The team business included sales of Insurance
and Mutual Funds and cross sales of equity and gold scheme of the co.
The job included;
 Monthly business planning and weekly sales review with the Regional Director
 Quarterly business review with Vice President of the Group
 Team building, training and grooming of my team members on regular basis
 Keep high motivation & morale of the team members at all times for better productivity
 Follow-up with prospective and existing clients for relationship building and servicing
January 2002 to January 2007
I joined ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (IPRU) at Lucknow as an Insurance Advisor in
January 2002 and got elevated as Unit Manager (Sales & Distribution) in May 2004.
Role and Responsibilities
 Recruitment of Insurance Advisors and handle a team of about 25 members.
 Handhold & groom these Advisors and motivate them to achieve monthly sales targets.
 Develop sales skills and efficiency of Advisors through regular training & joint field work.
 If required, meet the prospective clients to convince and close the business with them
From November 1998 to December 2001
I worked as a ‘Project Assistant’ in the Administration and Academic Wing of Bankers Institute of
Rural Development (BIRD), a training institute sponsored by NABARD at Lucknow to impart
training to the senior level officers in Banks, Self Help Groups, NGOs, IAS, etc.
From January 1998 to October 1998
I started my career while working as a ‘Special Officer’ with a Corporation of Govt. of Uttar
Pradesh having its office at New Delhi focused towards facilitation of Industries in the state.
