EasyLux PG wants to address this need:
Clean Energy + Wifi LED light system + IoT Technology + Smart Grid = - consumption + energy saving
MISSION & VISION
The need for a more efficient use of resources has been
highlighted by the EU: it has estimated that if current
consumption rates continue, by 2050 the equivalent of two
planets will be needed to meet our energy needs.
PROBLEM (Mission)
Prevent this gloomy scenario
from happening
NEED (Vision)
Energy consumption more
efficient & environmentally-
friendly

THE SOLUTION: AN INNOVATIVE ECOSYSTEM
EASYLUXPG: EFFICIENT PRODUCTION OF ENERGY AND LIGHTING
EasyLuxPG is a LED lighting system with a wireless
infrastructure, light and motion sensors, solar panels and energy
accumulators.
WiFi communication between elements allows for the creation of
a Personal Smart Grid, and the mapping of user’s consumption
for customized energy saving schemes.
Smart Grids = Smart Networks
the electric networks of the future that improves energy flow
management.
FIWARE libraries allows the management software to integrate
with sensors and third-party services for future scenarios.
6. 6
All network elements making up for EasyLuxPG system (lights, sensors, accumulators, mobile devices) communicate using
the TCP-IP protocol and becoming actual Internet elements, thus creating the Internet of Things.
EASYLUXPG'S POINTS OF STRENGTH
Wireless: easy communication and reduced costs
Reconfiguration via software
On-the-spot and remote real-time control
Interfacing through PC or mobile devices
Mapping of energy consumption patterns
Smart Grid:dynamic scenarios for energy saving
FIWARE libraries
FIWARE
Web 2.0 state-of-the-art user interface
Smart Grid additional info from third-parties sensors
(e.g. whether forecast festivities and geolocation) which
offer for context aware energy saving options.
Storing of consumptions in Open Data for statistic
analysis

EasyluxPG is an IoT system. At the moment, only 0.6 % of the objects worldwide are connected to the Net.
It is estimated that in the future all objects will be Internet of Everything with the following expected
figures.
GE: In the next 20 years, the increase in economic value created by the “Internet of Everything” will be
$19 trillion
Gartner: by 2020 a $300 billion-worth revenue growth is expected from IoT product and service suppliers
IDC: the worldwide market for IoT solutions will grow to $7.1 trillion in 2020 from $1.9 trillion recorded in
2013
Amomg industrialised countries, Italy is the most energy-effective: in the last few years, LED lights have
reported a large increase which has resulted in 9.6% savings per year. We start from here and move
worldwide.

COMPETITORS
There are six large companies providing high-level WiFi lighting solutions geared towards visual comfort
and mood lighting control. The main feature that distinguish EasyLuxPG fundamentally from the others. is
the presence at the same time of WiFi light, sensors and solar panels creating a Customizable Smart Grid.
These are catchy characteristics both for households, offices and the industry
The integration of Apps in the FIWARE platform and the data collection in the Open Data FIWARE cloud turn
the system from a simple infrastructure into a lighting system to easily monitor energy consumption.
