• 55 Yrs , Female
• C/O abdominal pain.
• CT abdomen : Large 16 x 14 x10 cm
pelvico- abdominal mass lesion with
extension, mass effect and loss of fat
planes with adjacent organs like sigmoid
colon and distal descending colon.
? GIST, ? Ovarian neoplasm

3. Gross morphology
• Received resected specimen of mass in the
mesocolon of sigmoid colon adherent to
ileum.
• Mass measured 19.5 x 18,0 x 8.0 cm.
• Cut section : Nodular grey white appearance

• 59 yr Male
• CT scan : Large soft tissue mass in the Right maxillary sinus
measuring 5.0 x 4.0 cm. Destruction of maxillary walls.
Extending into right nasal cavity and ethmoidal sinus.
• Enlarged right level I lymph node.
• Excised right cervical lymph node
