With 3T Black Box it is possible to perform zero-interference, image recognition-based HMI-level tests of safety-relevant functionalities like ETCS or ATP, and more. It is a specialized device built to last and to work flawlessly with any kind of possible display hardware, including driver's displays, HMIs, and touchscreens found in the most advanced locomotives, regional and high-speed trains.

2. For an automated test to be considered genuinely reliable, it must interfere
with the unit under test’s internal software as little as possible. This need is
frequently amplified by normative requirements related to software verification
and validation process for safety-sensitive products.
To meet this demand, we had to leave legacy custom software interfaces
aside, and build a completely new device. A device which, in essence,
substitutes a human tester becoming their eyes and arms:

The eyes - a fast, high resolution camera capable of efficient and reliable image
recognition, supported by NI Vision.
The arms - a robotic arm utilizing the state-of-the art 3D prinitng technology for
extraordinary flexibility as well as minimal time and cost of adaptation to any
new hardware the future may bring.
All encapsuled in a black cubic housing.
