TMHE partnership with EU-OSHA
TMHE is an official partner of the European Organisation for Health and Safety at Work since 2010 for the campaigns: ‘Safe Maintenance’, ‘Working together for risk prevention’ and ‘Healthy Workplaces Manage Stress’
This is a strong commitment and engagement from TMHE’s Management to increase health and safety of TMHE employees and customers by promoting best practice both internally and externally.

Part of the in-house safety initiatives is the implementation of a Safety Dojo (“dojo” stands for “school” in Japanese) in each of the three factories.
This is a dedicated area of the factories for safety training: Mandatory at our European factories for all employees, working in the factory or in the office.
More than 2,250 workers have been trained on risk assessment, safe use of equipment and handling of hazardous products.

In areas with poor visibility, SpotMe alerts truck drivers and pedestrians of the potential danger of collision, protecting the workers, the forklift and the goods.

3D Forklift

Toyota introduced at CeMAT 2014 a unique 3D forklift simulator.
The simulaor has been developed using Oculus 3D glasses for a unique driving experience.
Promoting safer driving and raising awareness of the risks to be found in areas where forklifts operate.
It is currently being used at fairs and events for novice and experienced drivers to experience driving a forklift truck in complete safety/
The simulator is a highlight that was introduced at CeMAT 2014.
