Some accounts will have
Sharepoint installed on their
Office homepage. This is based on
the type of Microsoft account that
was set up for you.
If you see the Sharepoint logo,
you can use that link to go to the
Sharepoint homepage where you
can see all the Sharepoint groups
you are a part of.
If you don’t see the Sharepoint
logo, don’t worry. You can still
access the site.

QUICK LINKS
On the home page, the
Quick Links section will take
you to the pages that will be
used most frequently.
Links to the Recap, Inventory
and Summaries folders will
help keep you organized and
the information more
accessible.
The Beer and Wine Check
Tracker and Check Request
are for those locations in WA
that require Blank checks for
their Beer and Wine vendors.
NEWS
On the home page, the
News section will have
local news information
relevant to the restaurant
industry as well as any
relevant company
announcements.
CALENDAR
Scrolling down on the
homepage will reveal the
group calendar.
This calendar contains the
information for the month
end and week end dates.
NAVIGATION BAR
The left hand side of the page has a navigation bar that has
other resources you may need.
“Documents” are all the files that are shared with the group.
You’ll find recaps, inventory lists, summaries and more stored
here.
“Employee Onboarding” will take you to a list that has the step-
by-step process to add a new employee.
“Check Tracker” is where the list of the Beer and Wine checks
written for Bellevue and Issaquah can be maintained.
“Check Request” contains a form that Bellevue and Issaquah can
use to request checks from the main office for Beer and Wine
vendors.
NAVIGATION BAR CONTINUED
“COVID-19” resources contains important updates, mandate
information, and a place to upload any required documentation.
“Training Resources” contains the files that you may need to
train someone, based on location.
“Notebook” is a Microsoft tool that the group uses to brainstorm
and collaborate.
“Pages” will take you to a directory of the entire site. DO NOT
DELETE ANYTHING FROM THIS PAGE.
“Questions” is a place that you can submit any questions or
issues and it will go straight to Tiffany.
DOCUMENTS
The quick links on the home
page will take you directly to
the folder that you need. This
is another way to access those
same folders.
This is a centralized location
for everything else on the site.
If you use OneDrive on your
computer for file storage (like
Google Drive) you can add
shortcuts to these folders and
make it easier to access
regularly.
CHECK TRACKER
When a blank check is written for a location it is added to the group’s
list to keep track of when it was written and totals so they can be
logged.
When someone fills out a check, they will add information to “Written
for” “Amount” change “Status” to “Written” and update the “Date
Written On”
CHECK REQUEST
To simplify how Bellevue and Issaquah
request checks, select the vendors that you
need from the list and hit submit.
COVID-19
RESOURCES
This page’s purpose is to
facilitate up-to-date information
about the ongoing COVID-19
pandemic.
The “Mandates” folder contains
the local mandates as well as
any required signage.
“Employee files” is a folder to
store any required vaccination
information.
“Employee Wellness Logs” can
be used to store any required
logs in conjunction with COVID-
19.
TRAINING
RESOURCES
This page will change as we
collect more information.
For now, it contains the
folders for storing the
information about training
managers and employees
from the different
locations.
Eventually, we plan to use
this page to share recipes
instructions as well, so
everyone has access to the
same instructions.
NOTEBOOK
Notebook is a place to store
information and brainstorm
ideas. This tool could be used
to collect, share and discuss
information.
BREAK LOGS
One of the most important new aspects of the
Sharepoint site is maintaining thorough files of the
break logs per location.
On the home screen, there is a Quick link to take
you to the folder where the break logs are collected.
It is broken down by months.
You can upload information to this folder 2 different
ways:
Add the file to your computer, then drag and drop it into
the appropriate folder
Use the “OneDrive” app on your phone to access the folder
and then scan directly from the app.
I highly recommend getting the OneDrive app for
your phone. It makes it so easy!
ONEDRIVE APP
The OneDrive app is available for both
Apple and Android phones.
Download the app and sign in using your
Microsoft account information.
Tap on the Camera Icon to open the
scanning tool.
SCANNING IN THE ONEDRIVE APP
Follow the prompts to scan your document. You can adjust the
document edges and add a filter to make it more visible, if you
want.
When you are done, you will see this screen where you can
choose where to save the file.
Select your SharePoint group, then click “Documents” then
“Employee Files” then “Break Logs” then your store and the
appropriate month.
Click “Save here”
Don’t worry about changing the name of the file, because the
format is already set to save as the date uploaded!
