Successfully delivered as Global Conversion and Cutover Manager to complete a joint venture /
divestiture of Automotive Interiors division. Led planning, execution and stabilization for legal
entity restructuring of over 30 manufacturing sites in U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Led
wave conversion planning of legal entity separation activities as part of the company’s $22 billion
Automotive Experience Division spin-off.
Northwestern Mutual 6/2012 – 4/2015
As Sr. Project Manager on an initiative to modernize the client’s Internet presence, drove definition
and delivery of product features across core teams, brokered teams and external vendors. Specific
areas included investment product strategy and site integration, business application architecture,
client service and support model. Led an effort with investments technology, data warehousing and
an external vendor to drive 2 days of latency out of reporting and client-facing site information.
Sentry Insurance 12/2009 – 6/2012
As Sr. Project Manager, drove teams engaged in the client’s legacy systems replacement initiatives
across two major releases. For the client’s Transportation division, directed the team responsible
for the client’s proprietary rating engine, as well as the integration to Guidewire Policy Center 4.0.
Directed 2 onshore, and 2 offshore teams supporting planning and migration of the client’s
Standard Business Products and Dealer Operations divisions to Guidewire Policy Center 7.0.
Northwestern Mutual 11/2009 – 12/2010
As Sr. Project Manager, led project teams in the Enterprise Data Shared Services group. As a group
we brokered services to enterprise projects providing data warehousing and data mart solutions, as
well as real-time data access services to core applications.
CUNA Mutual Group 8/2009 – 11/2009
As a consultant, performed high-level project assessments and developed business cases for the
client’s 2010 planning and prioritization.
Northwestern Mutual 3/2008 – 6/2009
As Sr. Project Manager, completed all business process change activities for the mutual company’s
home office migration from PeopleSoft to Ultipro for their Human Resources and Payroll functions.
Led the team responsible for business process definition and documentation, software application
configuration and customization, payroll parallel processing, end-user training, and enterprise-
wide change management.
RSM McGladrey, Inc. 9/2005 – 3/2008
As Program Manager, successfully completed the integration activities resulting from the
acquisition of a public accounting firm. The project covered integration of internal business
systems, audit and tax technologies, communications networks and physical locations. The
resulting company has over 9,000 professionals.
As Sr. Project Manager, successfully led the transition of the methodology and tools used by over
4,000 audit professionals in the firm. The migration included automation of risk-based audit
planning steps, and movement of the technology platform from Lotus Notes to a Web-based
enterprise platform that integrates with Caseware Working Papers. We were the Beta client with
Caseware as they enhanced the architecture of their product to match Lotus Notes replication
capabilities.

US Bancorp 6/2004 – 9/2005
Development Manager
Responsible for a team implementing and supporting applications used by the US Bancorp’s
Mutual Fund Services Division. Business areas supported included Fund Accounting, Fund
Administration and Transfer Agency. US Bank provides these services as a third-party to
approximately 150 mutual fund family clients. Applications are distributed across multiple
platforms and technologies.

Sr. Project Management Consultant
Bank of New York Clearing Services 10/2000 – 3/2003
As Program Manager, successfully led completion of the acquisition and conversion of a
correspondent-clearing firm. The client acquired a clearing firm servicing approximately 80
broker / dealer correspondent customers representing over 100 office locations. The project
required back-end systems conversions, migration of the correspondent network and
infrastructure, and integration of front-end Web based and client/server applications into the
client’s technology environment. The project required coordination across four corporations.
Responsibilities included establishing and implementing the overall project management
methodology and ongoing project execution. Reported to the Executive Steering Committee chaired
by the CEO and made up of the top-level executives from the five corporations involved.
Completed a systems consolidation effort involving evaluation of various trading and order
management platforms. Project resulted in the elimination of an internally supported system at a
significant annual cost savings to the client.
Directed a coordinated Business Continuity Planning project including Business Impact Analysis,
Business Facilities analysis and Data Center co-location. Managed internal teams and vendor
relationships to develop a combined strategy and plan for a client in the securities industry
ProHealth Care 6/2003 – 2/2004
As Program Manager, completed an enterprise-wide implementation of the Kronos Workforce
Central Time and Attendance platform for a regional healthcare organization with multiple
hospitals and clinics.
Led the planning and initial implementation stages for a Lawson Human Resources Self-Service
application for a regional healthcare organization.

As Engagement Manager, completed a technology infrastructure and business application
development project for a heath care group purchasing organization. Responsible for overall budget
of approximately $3 million reporting directly to the client’s Executive Steering Committee. A
major percentage of the project was dedicated to development of Internet applications to support
the client’s eBusiness direction.
Milwaukee Public Schools
Performed Management Quality Assurance over a PeopleSoft HR / Payroll / Benefits Administration
implementation for this large government organization with over 18,000 employees. The project had
an overall budget of approximately $8.5 million. Participated on the client’s Policy Committee to
review and make recommendations related to major project deliverables and decisions.
Northwestern Mutual
Performed as Lead Architect to complete the design of an enterprise client information solution. Key
aspects of the design centered on the “two-phase commit” requirements of multi-platform business
update transactions.
Schwaab Stamp
As Consultant, completed an overall systems and technology assessment. Delivered
presentations to executives describing the current environment, key issues and business
requirements, with recommendations for both short and longer-term technology initiatives. The
recommendations led to the selection and implementation of a new technology infrastructure
and the purchase of an ERP application suite.
The Berrington Group
As Project Manager, completed a package selection project for this third-party administrator of
flexible benefits plans. Led the RFI / RFP process to identify vendor short-list. Directed consultants
and client staff through the vendor solicitation, package evaluation and selection, and final
procurement. The platform and software was chosen to replace the core applications used to
administer flexible benefit plans on behalf of their clients.
DDN Pharmaceutical Logistics 3/1996 – 7/1997
Director of Information Systems
As Director, drove technology-related initiatives for a provider of third-party distribution services to
the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. In-house systems provided order processing, inventory
control, warehouse management, and distribution processing. Data synchronization with
manufacturer’s systems was supported through Electronic Data Interchange.
Led the implementation and support of a Wide Area Network spanning three locations including the
implementation of office productivity software and electronic mail across the company.
Completed the implementation of company-wide Internet connectivity for electronic mail and
Internet access.
Documented and implemented methodologies for managing and aligning the IT project portfolio with
business priorities.
Directed the RFI / RFP process for selection of a mid-market ERP application.

Completed the definition, design, development, implementation, and support of an Inquiry Generator
product that enabled end-user development of custom screens without programming intervention.

Led planning, execution and stabilization for legal entity restructuring of over 30 manufacturing sites in U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Led wave conversion planning of legal entity separation activities as part of the company’s $22 billion Automotive Experience Division spin-off. Northwestern Mutual 6/2012 – 4/2015 As Sr. Project Manager on an initiative to modernize the client’s Internet presence, drove definition and delivery of product features across core teams, brokered teams and external vendors. Specific areas included investment product strategy and site integration, business application architecture, client service and support model. Led an effort with investments technology, data warehousing and an external vendor to drive 2 days of latency out of reporting and client-facing site information. As a group we brokered services to enterprise projects providing data warehousing and data mart solutions, as well as real-time data access services to core applications. CUNA Mutual Group 8/2009 – 11/2009 As a consultant, performed high-level project assessments and developed business cases for the client’s 2010 planning and prioritization. Northwestern Mutual 3/2008 – 6/2009 As Sr. Project Manager, completed all business process change activities for the mutual company’s home office migration from PeopleSoft to Ultipro for their Human Resources and Payroll functions. Led the team responsible for business process definition and documentation, software application configuration and customization, payroll parallel processing, end-user training, and enterprise- wide change management. RSM McGladrey, Inc. 9/2005 – 3/2008 As Program Manager, successfully completed the integration activities resulting from the acquisition of a public accounting firm. The project covered integration of internal business systems, audit and tax technologies, communications networks and physical locations. The resulting company has over 9,000 professionals. As Sr. Project Manager, successfully led the transition of the methodology and tools used by over 4,000 audit professionals in the firm. The migration included automation of risk-based audit planning steps, and movement of the technology platform from Lotus Notes to a Web-based enterprise platform that integrates with Caseware Working Papers. We were the Beta client with Caseware as they enhanced the architecture of their product to match Lotus Notes replication capabilities.

Business areas supported included Fund Accounting, Fund Administration and Transfer Agency. US Bank provides these services as a third-party to approximately 150 mutual fund family clients. Applications are distributed across multiple platforms and technologies. Berkshire Consulting, LLC 10/2000 – 6/2004 Sr. Project Management Consultant Bank of New York Clearing Services 10/2000 – 3/2003 As Program Manager, successfully led completion of the acquisition and conversion of a correspondent-clearing firm. The client acquired a clearing firm servicing approximately 80 broker / dealer correspondent customers representing over 100 office locations. The project required back-end systems conversions, migration of the correspondent network and infrastructure, and integration of front-end Web based and client/server applications into the client’s technology environment. The project required coordination across four corporations. Responsibilities included establishing and implementing the overall project management methodology and ongoing project execution. Reported to the Executive Steering Committee chaired by the CEO and made up of the top-level executives from the five corporations involved. Completed a systems consolidation effort involving evaluation of various trading and order management platforms. Project resulted in the elimination of an internally supported system at a significant annual cost savings to the client. Directed a coordinated Business Continuity Planning project including Business Impact Analysis, Business Facilities analysis and Data Center co-location. Managed internal teams and vendor relationships to develop a combined strategy and plan for a client in the securities industry ProHealth Care 6/2003 – 2/2004 As Program Manager, completed an enterprise-wide implementation of the Kronos Workforce Central Time and Attendance platform for a regional healthcare organization with multiple hospitals and clinics. Responsible for overall budget of approximately $3 million reporting directly to the client’s Executive Steering Committee. A major percentage of the project was dedicated to development of Internet applications to support the client’s eBusiness direction. Milwaukee Public Schools Performed Management Quality Assurance over a PeopleSoft HR / Payroll / Benefits Administration implementation for this large government organization with over 18,000 employees. The project had an overall budget of approximately $8.5 million. Participated on the client’s Policy Committee to review and make recommendations related to major project deliverables and decisions. Northwestern Mutual Performed as Lead Architect to complete the design of an enterprise client information solution. Key aspects of the design centered on the “two-phase commit” requirements of multi-platform business update transactions. Schwaab Stamp As Consultant, completed an overall systems and technology assessment. Delivered presentations to executives describing the current environment, key issues and business requirements, with recommendations for both short and longer-term technology initiatives. The recommendations led to the selection and implementation of a new technology infrastructure and the purchase of an ERP application suite. The Berrington Group As Project Manager, completed a package selection project for this third-party administrator of flexible benefits plans. Led the RFI / RFP process to identify vendor short-list. Directed consultants and client staff through the vendor solicitation, package evaluation and selection, and final procurement. The platform and software was chosen to replace the core applications used to administer flexible benefit plans on behalf of their clients. DDN Pharmaceutical Logistics 3/1996 – 7/1997 Director of Information Systems As Director, drove technology-related initiatives for a provider of third-party distribution services to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. In-house systems provided order processing, inventory control, warehouse management, and distribution processing. Data synchronization with manufacturer’s systems was supported through Electronic Data Interchange. Led the implementation and support of a Wide Area Network spanning three locations including the implementation of office productivity software and electronic mail across the company. Completed the implementation of company-wide Internet connectivity for electronic mail and Internet access. Completed the definition, design, development, implementation, and support of an Inquiry Generator product that enabled end-user development of custom screens without programming intervention.
