With more than 4,700 professionals, 75 exhibitors representing
all areas of the Digital landscape, Digital First has once again
proven its position as the #1 leading B2B event of the Belgium
Digital industry. The number of participants has grown
significantly from 3,700 in 2013 to 4,780 in 2014, i.e. more
than a 1,000 new participants!
Digital Marketing First became Digital First. The aim was to expand the
Digital offer presented at the fair, attract new players and showcase new
technologies (Internet of Things, Augmented Reality, 3D Printing, ...) by
bringing Innovation into the spotlight thanks to a dedicated area called
Innovation Fab.

WHO VISITS DIGITAL FIRST ?
To register for the fair, every professional has
to fill in a questionnaire to identify its profile:
entrepreneurs, agencies, advertisers,... they
all define their area of interest and reasons
for attending the fair. Based on these profles,
we can announce that 40% of visitors were
Advertisers.
Followed by Agencies with 26%, then Large
accounts with 25% and, last but not least,
entrepreneurs who represent 30% of all visitors.
The number of participants has grown
significantly from some 3,700 in 2013 to 4,780 in
2014, i.e. more than a 1.000 new participants!
Advertisers have set the pace and are seeking partners to
provide them with the latest up to date trends and digital
solutions. This is the main focus of Digital First: to bring
together buyers and sellers, expose new trends and promote
innovation within the digital industry.
Thanks to a unique and specialized offer including an exclusive
lounge area and dedicated conferences, we were able to
attract over 500 C-level brands and advertisers, representing
over 40% of all Digital First attendees.
Digital Strategies are no longer considered part
of a marketing mix but are now included in every
step, every phase of a more global marketing
strategy.

UNIQUE VISITORS! (328 respondents)
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Of these 85%, 40% are advertisers, 25% are agencies and
another 20% buyers such as entrepreneurs, small and
medium enterprises, freelancers and consultants. The
remaining 5% represent creative profiles.
Bringing the right people to Digital First is one of our main
goals in order to ensure the best business opportunities for
the exhibitors. We succeeded in doing so and the numbers
prove it: 75% of Digital First visitors are decision makers. This
percentage was increased compared to last years edition
thanks to a special Advertiser offer that attracted more than
500 C-Level Advertisers to the fair.
More than half of the visitors are Dutch-speaking,
immediately followed by French-speaking attendees,
who represent 45%. The regional distribution reveals
a predominance of the Flemish and Brussels regions,
representing 45% and 42% respectively. The remaining
13% come from the Walloon region.

Attending conferences and seeking new
business opportunities are the main goals of
Digital First visitors.
BUT DID YOU FIND WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR?
Thanks to the quality of our exhibitors, the content and
solutions they propose, both at booths and through their
conferences, 85% of Digital First visitors claim to have
found what they were looking for.
ARE YOU COMING BACK NEXT YEAR?
70% have explicitly indicated that they intend to
return for the 2015 edition planned for the 15th

October 2015, Tour&Taxis.

Conferences and workshops are a great success at Digital First. This is
explained by the quality of the content provided by the speakers. A total
of 80 sessions took place during one day. A new and improved workshop
format contributed to this success with smaller classrooms and
an improved audio environment.
In addition to the workshops, the Digital First owes its success to the
presence of more than 75 exhibitors providing a sharp overview of the
digital marketplace in Belgium. This explains why most visitors attend
the tradeshow seeking for new business opportunities as well as for
networking with peers.
85% of Digital First visitors confirm to have found what they were
looking for. This is a clear indicator of the quality of the content provided
at Digital First. A combination of a professional organization, exhibitors
and speakers that highlights Digital First’s position as the leading B2B
digital event in Belgium.
As digital marketing is becoming more measurable and performance-
based, it will not be uncommon to see enterprises applying performance
models to channels like mobile, social media and video. By combining
human insights with machine learning and real-time predictive analytics,
tomorrow’s digital marketing will provide an easy way to answer more
marketing questions.
So stay tuned to all Digital First 2015 communications as we are
celebrating the fair’s 10th
Birthday next year.
Following the fair a satisfaction questionnaire has been
sent to all Digital First attendees. For this 9th
edition,
performance based strategies was the main theme of the
fair. On top of this, Innovation and New Technologies
became the main attraction through the Innovation Fab.

  • 2. NEW RECORD FOR THIS 2014TH EDITION 4,780 VISITORS! WHO VISITS DIGITAL FIRST ? To register for the fair, every professional has to fill in a questionnaire to identify its profile: entrepreneurs, agencies, advertisers,... they all define their area of interest and reasons for attending the fair. Based on these profles, we can announce that 40% of visitors were Advertisers. Followed by Agencies with 26%, then Large accounts with 25% and, last but not least, entrepreneurs who represent 30% of all visitors. The number of participants has grown significantly from some 3,700 in 2013 to 4,780 in 2014, i.e. more than a 1.000 new participants! Advertisers have set the pace and are seeking partners to provide them with the latest up to date trends and digital solutions. This is the main focus of Digital First: to bring together buyers and sellers, expose new trends and promote innovation within the digital industry. Thanks to a unique and specialized offer including an exclusive lounge area and dedicated conferences, we were able to attract over 500 C-level brands and advertisers, representing over 40% of all Digital First attendees. (328 respondents) PARTICIPANT PROFILE Of these 85%, 40% are advertisers, 25% are agencies and another 20% buyers such as entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, freelancers and consultants. The remaining 5% represent creative profiles. Bringing the right people to Digital First is one of our main goals in order to ensure the best business opportunities for the exhibitors. We succeeded in doing so and the numbers prove it: 75% of Digital First visitors are decision makers. This percentage was increased compared to last years edition thanks to a special Advertiser offer that attracted more than 500 C-Level Advertisers to the fair. More than half of the visitors are Dutch-speaking, immediately followed by French-speaking attendees, who represent 45%. The regional distribution reveals a predominance of the Flemish and Brussels regions, representing 45% and 42% respectively. The remaining 13% come from the Walloon region. This has been achieved through a new and improved positioning as well as a dedicated Advertiser Offer.   • 4. WHY THEY VISIT THE FAIR? Attending conferences and seeking new business opportunities are the main goals of Digital First visitors. BUT DID YOU FIND WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR? Thanks to the quality of our exhibitors, the content and solutions they propose, both at booths and through their conferences, 85% of Digital First visitors claim to have found what they were looking for. ARE YOU COMING BACK NEXT YEAR? 70% have explicitly indicated that they intend to return for the 2015 edition planned for the 15th of October 2015, Tour&Taxis. This is explained by the quality of the content provided by the speakers. A total of 80 sessions took place during one day. A new and improved workshop format contributed to this success with smaller classrooms and an improved audio environment. In addition to the workshops, the Digital First owes its success to the presence of more than 75 exhibitors providing a sharp overview of the digital marketplace in Belgium. This explains why most visitors attend the tradeshow seeking for new business opportunities as well as for networking with peers. 85% of Digital First visitors confirm to have found what they were looking for. This is a clear indicator of the quality of the content provided at Digital First. A combination of a professional organization, exhibitors and speakers that highlights Digital First’s position as the leading B2B digital event in Belgium. As digital marketing is becoming more measurable and performance- based, it will not be uncommon to see enterprises applying performance models to channels like mobile, social media and video. By combining human insights with machine learning and real-time predictive analytics, tomorrow’s digital marketing will provide an easy way to answer more marketing questions.
