Christians as
judgmental,
intolerant, and even
power-hungry.

truth and objective standards.

West of various
religions and
philosophies such
as Buddhism,
existentialism and
materialism.

11. 5) The rise of the New Atheists in terms
of their output in print and other media
and their assertiveness.

12. 6) The growth of scientism and the
related view that faith is blind or illogical.

13. 7) The scandals in the Christian world
ranging from pedophelia in the Catholic
church to the fall of pastors like Mark
Driscoll as Mars Hill.

we know ourselves, or even beyond that?
