he entrepreneurship education is believed to provide the
Tunderstanding of the concepts of entrepreneurship, and at
the same time train and motivate them to indulge into
entrepreneurial activities in the future. It is well understood that it
has a signiﬁcant impact on the economic growth of the country.
The entrepreneurship education has been deﬁned as a collection of
formalized teachings that educate the one who is interested in
business establishment. This kind of education can trigger the
entrepreneurial initiatives by enhancing the business mindset
among the students.
The opinion of students regarding entrepreneurship education has
been analyzed by the great researchers and they found that the
students are highly interested in starting their own business. It is
considered that the decision-making skills, risk-taking capacity,
creativity, communication skills and ability to prepare business plan
are the most important skills for a successful entrepreneur. Thus it
is important to make them feel motivated to start their own business
because of intrinsic factors like being their own boss, chasing their
dreams.
The need for entrepreneurship education has been well established
in the recent studies. However, the traditional education system
teaches students how to become a good employee instead of a
successful entrepreneur. It has been recommended that considerable
changes are required in the process of learning. The
entrepreneurship should be equated with creativity and change, and
not with the new venture creation. The students are one of the main
stakeholders in the entrepreneurship education process.
The above highlighted points shows that the entrepreneurship
education is important for promoting the entrepreneurship, but there
is a need to carry out more research on the way of providing the
entrepreneurship education.

(iFEEL) is a boutique business school,
based out of picturesque Lonavala,

operations in the year 2010 and runs its
flagship program of two-year full-time
Post Graduate Diploma in

Analogous to a well-known phrase ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’, the legacy of
JBIMS cannot be attributed to a single person. It’s a result of concomitant
efforts of various individuals with zeal to create something bigger for societal
good. It all started with the beloved Dr. Kalyan S. Basu, who ‘crossed the
street’ from Hindustan Lever (ex-Vice President) to the Founder and Director
of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He constantly
manifested his profound love and concern for youngsters, and also, his
undying passion for management education as a vital resource for India’s
progress. His zealous initiative behind starting an institute for the national

1. Focus on the Core Strength

There are going to be things that the others are

giving up, one should be aware of the fact that a few
weaknesses are just an important ingredient for every
successful person. It is not mandatory to excel at

2. Stop Fearing Failure; Rather get Motivated by them
Stepping out from the shoes of a student and getting
into the shoes of a nine-to-five employee is a rather a
challenging job. In the beginning, one might end up
choosing a wrong career. But, the advice is not to get
dismantled, because these are the normal struggles of a
beginner in the world. It is only through the mistakes
that we learn the important things in life. This is not the
biggest mistakes of life; there are many more to come.
It is important to remember to get up again, and fix the
mistakes that have been made. Mistakes are good, only
if we have learned from them, and moved ahead as a
more experienced and a smarter person. The biggest
enemy of our dreams is our own fear. Let the fear go
and then one will realize that he/she have an ocean of
opportunities waiting for them. Pursue the dreams like
a child follows the butterfly. It is a proven fact that if
one gives his/her hundred percent, he/she cannot fail at
it because it is the result of hard work and dedication.
Just have the courage to believe in the dreams. Work
hard and strive towards what seems surreal one day,
one will surely find themself at a new height of success.
3. Strive for Excellence! Success will follow You!
The norms of the world changes once the student steps
out of the college. From a carefree little world where
the people dreamt of being a lovable guitarist in a band,
one comes to the stage where everybody speaks about
their business in a serious way. In this business world,
money becomes the first priority.
Today, success is defined by the car one is driving and
the apartment one is living in. Rather than becoming
one of these people striving hard to get success, strive
to be excellent at whatever one can do. That is what a
key advice which makes everyone of us successful in
the real meaning of the world. Being the best in the
particular field makes us the gem that everybody would
want in their ring. Learn that success is not all about
money; it is the independence that one can feel.
4. Don’t let go of your Dreams
Dream like a small kid. There are many people, who
will say that these dreams are unrealistic or too big to
achieve, but remember what successful people say—
“If others will not laugh at your dreams, then it is not
big enough to worth working on.” So, one has to be
passionate and ready to embrace their dreams.
5. Have a vision
No matter what others call it – weird, stupid or lame; it
is easy to live by the boring nine to five work schedule
and then return to the apartment with no family waiting
for the person. If one is dreaming of becoming a
traveler, work on it. Plan for it. One of the helpful
things for the rest of life is to have a vision.
6. Pursue what you Love
One should have to use his/her interest as a tool to find
the right career path. If someone loves writing, go and
work for a firm which specializes in creative writing or
something of their interest rather than doing the job at
some big company.
7. Don’t Wait for Opportunities, Create Them
Opportunities do not come over to us, we have to work
hard and cease opportunities as they come by. Be
motivated, because giving up is not an option; that is
not something greatness inspires. Failures make us
stronger and more experienced. After college, life may
seem quite hectic, new and challenging, but remember
if the caterpillar would not struggle to come out of the
labyrinth; it would probably never become a butterfly.
Thus, never to let go of dreams, no matter how
challenging times one may have to face.
What matters?
At the end of the journey, many of us will realize that life
has never been about the number of cars we own and the
kind of bungalow we live in. But, life is all about the
experiences we all have had and the lessons we have
learned. Because, at the end of the day, when we sit with
our kids, we would not tell them about the number of
projects we completed in the office, but about the

There are four major steps in solving a problem and the
faster you apply these steps, the better you get. These
crucial steps of problem-solving include-
1. Identifying the problem-
For a problem to be solved, it is important to identify
the problem and it’s magnitude. Once, you are clear
about what really the problem is, you can go further
to solve it. This process requires you to sit and map
which areas are in trouble and need a solution.
2. Look for the causes-
The next step to avoid the problem to expand is to
identify its causes. Identifying the cause helps you to
analyze what has created the problem in order to
prevent it in the future. Once this is done, the next
steps become clear.
3. Analyzing possible solutions-
One problem can have many possible solutions, but
the key is to find the quickest and the easiest solution
which will help you save time and effort. Each
possible solution needs to be thought of carefully in
order to get the ideal solution.
4. Implementing the best solution-
After analyzing and selecting the best possible
solution, create a plan to implement the solution.
Test and review the solution to make sure that you
have made the right choice.

quicker you are at this, the better opportunities you have in

If someone is unable to define the career goals, it

realizes. Professors have always explained things by
relating it to the world outside the classroom. They have

According to the World Economic Forum Report, more
than seven million jobs were and will be lost worldwide
between 2015 2020. If jobs were available, they are with
low-paying, contract basis which is without benefits and
pensions.
Future Auspices
Anxiety about the future is not new in today’s technological
world. Through the technologies, like 3D printing, cloud
technology or devices connected to the Internet; the huge
amount of information is now available instantly. This is
causing information overload and social anxiety. The days
are gone where the specific education will lead to a specific
job. Today organizations, institutes are helping the students
to use technology to help them respond to pressing social
issues, like climate change and poverty. Only teachers can
help students to solve problems creatively and teach them
how to work together. They also need to teach technical
skills and equip them to engage with problems. In the
recent years, virtual reality has been adopted to expose

Robotics is not only about the building of robots, or even
artificial intelligence. Robotics is literacy, a layer that will
influence all the parts of society and jobs. It is the future of
what the computer technology is now—something that
impacts every part of life and work, whether or not people
are trained to exclusively work with them. In high schools
and colleges giving students the tools to understand,
robotics will only increase what they bring to workplaces.
But despite technological changes, students must learn to
work together. According to the World Economic Forum,
surprisingly jobs are getting diminished, and also
highlighted the need for specialized sales representatives
who can explain the new products and need of managers
who are adept at leading organizations through rapid
change. Thus students have to learn problem-solving
