Accessibility
The accessibility of movable heritage collections is characterised as:
the ability of a user to find an item within a collection, i.e. to know that a particular collection holds this item;
the ability of the institution to locate the item and retrieve it, and
3. the ability of the institution to present it to a user in a format which is most appropriate to both the item and the user . In the case of the BT Design Register , access needs to be provided to as many aspects of the Series as possible, i.e. the container (or physical structure), the content (through improved catalogue data), and the material information intrinsic to the representations themselves .
