POWER FACTOR MEASUREMENT VERIFICATION for MAGNA INTERNATIONAL SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2009

In order to ensure accurate test measurements the oscilloscope power factor was measured against two
different power analyzers by TRIAS Innovations at the University of Ottawa.

No-Load Coil Power Factor Measurement Verification

1) Power Analyzer 1 Power Factor Reading = 0.11 / 83.7 degrees

2) Oscilloscope Power Factor Measurement = 0.14 / 82 degrees

3) Power Analyzer 2 Power Factor Reading = 0.11 / 83.7 degrees
