There are two types of dental
implants available in Thailand:
conventional implants, which are
done in two stages, normally about

Veneers are thin layers of porcelain fitted

There are three types of materials
available to choose from when
receiving a dental crown in Thailand:
porcelain fused to metal (PFM), all
porcelain, or all metal dental crowns,

14. Fillings
Most everyone is familiar with fillings, which are
needed to fill cavities that have developed due to
tooth decay. There are two types of fillings one
can receive nowadays: the traditional amalgam
filling, consisting of an amalgam of metals
including silver, tin, zinc, mercury, and copper; and
the newer composite resin tooth-colored fillings,
which match the natural tooth color much more
closely. Amalgam fillings are stronger and last
longer than composite resin fillings, though
patients often prefer using the lighter resin fillings
for their more visible teeth.

15. Dentures
Dentures are removable dental appliances used to
replace missing teeth. Two types of dentures are
available: complete, or full dentures; and partial
dentures. Complete dentures replace all of the teeth,

16. Dental Bridges
A dental bridge is a common method used to fill
a space created by a missing tooth, or teeth. A
dental bridge is made up of two to three or
more dental crowns for the teeth on either side
of the gap, which will now be filled with a false
tooth. Thus a bridge is created over the former
gap, which supports the replacement tooth.

traditional bridges, which are the most
common; cantilever bridges, used when there
are adjacent teeth on only one side of the
