lesus knew that His time was short. yet He asl<ed
Peter three times if he loved Him. When peter as-
sured his Lord of his love, Christ called him to the
natural response: "Feed My lambs.,(lohn 2LL5).
Love should motivate us to seive. ln the same
way the Father sent lesus to save the lost sheep
of lsrael, lesus called Peter to feed His lambs.
lesus made His legacy dependent on peter and
the other disciples who picked up the baton and ,
