Spectrum scarcity • Using two licence free frequencies on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band effectively becomes a challenge. • Wider and wider bands, false triggers for the radar avoidance mechanisms, retries for sending packets. • While the licence free spectrum is very efficiently used compared to licenced, it doesn’t mean it can be used efficiently.
