4. We use (be) going to to talk about future plans
and predictions.
I’m going to work in the USA for three months.

I think it’s going to rain this afternoon.
(prediction)
Negative form (be) + not+ going to
Interrogative (be) + person + going to
6. We can use both will and going to for
predictions, but:
Will – when the prediction comes from our own
opinion.
I will be a millionaire in the future.
Going to – when the prediction is based in a
fact.
The show is going to be expensive. They’re very
famous!
7. We generally use shall in first person (singular
– I/ plural – we) when we intend to be formal,
and when we offer in questions.
Shall I open the window?
We shall finish the meeting at 11:00.
