  1. Proposal 1 Working Title: i might call my game kings empire as it might take place in a dictated w orld. Product’s Purpose: My games main purpose is to intrigue and be immersive w hile stillbeing fun and competitive as the games story w illbe big and hard to play how ever my product willonly be a trailer so ill shows a lot of exciting game play as w ellas show ing some story. This trailers aim w illbe too excite the audience and also intrigue them. The music w illalso motivate the player into playing it. Genre: The games story and setting w illbe a fantasy set in the middle ages as it w ould be easier to pixel art these types of settings. It w illalso allow the most beautifulsettings as they built w onderfullooking settlements in the middle ages. The type of game w illbe a RPG, as it w illhave a levelling systemand different armours and w eapons. The game w illalso have a character customization adding to the role-playing aspect. The games exploration w illbe an overhead game similar to other RPG’s such as Pokémon and finalfantasy however the systemwillturn into a fighting game view ed fromthe side. Content The games story w ould be quite unique as it’s about every kingdom being dictated by an empire. Every kingdom w illbe led by an evil king w ho you to defeat. Each kingdom w illhave exploration and small enemies as w ellas the side boss and the final boss w ho willbe the king of the kingdom. Each kingdom w illact like a level. You w illhave to defeat every king to fight the last boss w ho willbe called king of kings. King of kings w illbe the main antagonist of the game as he leads the empire. The protagonist w illbe your ow n characterstarting as a low leveland gradually levelling up and equipping higher-level armour and w eapons. The game w illvery competitive as it w illbe very hard. Audience: I my audience w illbe for both genders as u can create your character and willhave a boy and girl selection. The w illalso attracts different races and types of people as there are many verities of selections even eye colour. The story w illtry and suit the character u have created as the dialogue w illchange to either say boy or girl. To make this show illanimated different verity’s of created characters. This w illbe suitable for an emulator psychographic as Ihave said on my research Pow erPoint it w ould be a very competitive and difficult game w hich would consist of skills w hich Ithink emulators w ould be attracted to as so w ould find successon completing the game. They w ould also show and share their successwith their peers. The age range w illbe for 10–20 as it w on’t have or need violent language and graphic scenes. The game w illbe very close to Nintendo and Nintendo keep most of their games kid friendly. I w illalso use bright colours becoming more attractive to a younger audience. This w ould workas it w illsuit a larger audience. This w illnot be restricted for people under the age of ten as it includes violence w hich may influence them. Research and Planning: I have researched a lot about Nintendo w hich willbe very similar to my game. I have chosen Nintendo as they have made games such as Zelda, Pokémon and super smash bros w hich are allgoing to be very inspirationalfor my finalproject. Zelda’s setting, Pokémon’s exploration and super smash broses battling systemw illall be very similar to my game. My game w illalso be similar to Nintendo’s audiences appeal as they attract both young and old players. They accomplish this by making it simple and safe for children and make a deep story w ith challenging gameplay for older audiences. I w illmake a strict schedule to make this game. For the first day I w illplan a detailed story for the trailer as best as I can. For the second day I w illmake a huge map w hich willbe the map of the game and then edit it in the pixel art. For the next five days I w illmake and animate the scenes on each day. For the last day I w illmake a pixelated poster the suit the game. Legal & Ethical Considerations: My game w illnot include any offensive materialas it w illbe suitable for children. This means I w on’t add offensive language nor graphic scenes. I w on’t restrict a younger audience fromplaying it if the child’s guardian w illallow it. The game does have violent such as fighting w hich could influence children. Hopefully my trailer w on’t offend any certain groups which it shouldn’t as my game is a fantasy and w illnot be portrayed like the modern era. My game is about defeating dictatorship w hich may be reminiscing to real life scenes w hichit shouldn’t. To ensure I haven’t offended anyone Iw illkeep rechecking my animation and let my peers to checkit. If so I w illedit my animation to not offend anyone. I w illnot be using existing names as it w on’t be unique and it may brake an ASA code. My animation should be different to other existing products how everit w illtake inspiration fromNintendo games.
