you first download Free Download Manager.
How to Post to Power of A orney Radio Blog
Preliminary Step—Downloading a Download Manager

download.htm in your browser
And download the

2. Go to the Power of A orney Radio channel on the Federal News Radio site:

Retrieving MP3 From Federal News Radio to Local Computer
Right‐Click on the Play Arrow
On the Pop Up
Menu, Select
Copy audio URL
Find the MP3 you want to add to Power of A orney Radio blog and hold your cursor over the play arrow,
then right‐click with your mouse and the pop up menu below appears.
Open the Free Download Manager using the icon on
your desktop that should look similar to the icon on
the right.

3. Click the “+” sign
In the Add download pop
up window, click your
cursor in the blank bar
next to URL and then hit
the Ctrl and V keys
simultaneously to paste
in the MP3 address.
Click OK
Take note of where the
downloaded MP3 will be
saved. You can change to
a different loca on if you
like by clicking the folder
icon.
Right Click on the
Downloaded File
In the Pop Up Window,
Select Open Folder

4. In the new window, right
click on the mp3 file, and
then select Rename.
Type in the New Name for
the MP#. It should be
something unique and
descrip ve.

5. In order to remove the Federal News Radio intro, and otherwise edit the mp3 of your podcast use this
online tool:

At this page, click the Open File bu on and
locate the mp3 file you previously saved.
You audio file will load and you can move the slider bars to exact
loca on you want the recording to begin and end. The por on in the
blue shading is what will remain.
Move these bars to adjust the beginning
and ending of the recording.

6. Now just click the Download bu on and a window will open for you
to save the file locally—remember what you call it and where you
save it!

7. Crea ng a New Blog Post
Log in to our TypePad account by going to www.typepad.com.
Log In using the
username and
password.
Select Power of
A orney Radio from
the Blogs dropdown
Select New Post from
the Compose
Dropdown

8. Fill in the Title and
Body with the tle of
your podcast episode
and a brief descrip on
Type the Title of Your
Podcast, and Highlight
the Line then Click on
the Musical Notes
Bu on in the Tool Bar

9. You will be prompted
to choose the file to
upload. Click Choose
File
Navigate to the folder that the MP3 file was saved. If you didn’t change the default loca on
in Free Download Manager, you file will be in C:/Downloads/Music
Select your file by
clicking it, then
clicking Open.
Finally, click Upload File

10. If your linking was
successful, the link
will be forma ed as

appropriate Categories. You
may add categories by
clicking on Add a New
Category. Then, click Publish
