The I learned about a really big issue in the world that affects 3 billion of my neighboursIt kills nearly 2m people a year, mainly women and childrenIt causes climate change and deforestationAnd it takes up to one quarter of our neighbours’ disposable income on fuelIt’s called cooking your daily food: 3 billion people rely on biomass fuel for their daily cooking needs.
I run an Engineering group called Metalrax. It’s a listed PLC; actually it’s a turnaround.But I figured we might be able to design a stoveWe went through quite a few iterations to come up with the finished design – it’s a secret so if I showed you a photograph I’d have to kill you
