1. For more than 30 years, the Presbyterian Church (USA) has excluded its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer members from full participation in the life of the church.

9. Studies consistently show that people under 35 have heard the gospel message and support the inclusion of all believers, LGBTQ or otherwise.
10. So while some people in the church continue to use divisive tactics to ensure exclusion, the next generation has already decided for the full equality of all people.
11. This year, at the Presbyterian General Assembly, LGBTQ people, and allies, of the welcoming generation will claim their birthright as members of a just and inclusive church.
