may be pure or impure, that is
called industrial water.

 Industrial Water purification is the process
of removing undesirable chemicals,
biological contaminants, suspended solids
and gases from water.

 The water that is consists of
different type of the harmful
oils, mobiloils or other oily
material that can affect the
living things.

 The water that contains of different type
of chemicals or even the harmful gases.

8. Transportation of water
 Different types of water, first collected
in pits , and are then moved with the
helps of pumps to the water treatment
area/ effluent area.

9.  With the chemical and oily water , sanitary sewer
water are also collected on one place after their
purification, that area where it is collected is called
the Equalization basin.

10. Sedimentation Process
 If the waste water contains the solid
material then it first bring to the
sedimentation basin and then collected to
the equalization basin.

 The samples of the impure
water are sent periodically
to the labs to
check the
concentration
of the contaminants.

 If the water is pure then it was moved
out of the industry , if not pure then
either it was repure or moved to the
evaporation ponds.

 The organizations are made to check
NEQ’s of the waste water in the
industry.
 Also different types of the systems
(PSM, OSHA etc) are launched in the
industry that gives a fixed value of the
different materials, that can be
bearable for the humans and the
environment.
