3. RANJAN effected with an insurer
an insurance on his own life. In making the
proposal for insurance, RANJAN, in reply
to a question asking weather he had
suffered from mental derangement, replied
‘No’. In fact he had thought not aware of
the fact, been confined for acute mania. In
a claim on the policy, the insurer declined
to pay on the ground of a material
concealment. How would you decide ?
