General problems and question in development
• implementing a feature where we think(!) this is useful, how to clarify
that?
• we have developed features that are not (much) used afterwards
• connection between feedback about a problem and the state of the
system at this time +
• which clicks has the user done?
• what does the screen look like?
• which data is in the current session of the user?
• does a feature has an effect on the consumption of the user?
• general remark:
• the more feedback we get the more time we need for
answering this and dealing with it. Not answering something is
frustrating for the user

What we want to do in SUPERSEDE
• Testing three approaches to extends the iESA with different
measurements
• reduce the dropout rate by guiding the user through the
application
• give the users advice for doing modernisation
• provide individual evaluation of the data
• We want to answer questions like
• “Is a feature used by the users?”
• “Does a feature has an effect on the consumption of the user?”
• “Is our calculation valid for the users?”
• “Did a feature really helped?”
• “Which extension of a feature are useful for the user?”

Our goals
• reach a high binding to the tool by the users
• lower the dropout rate → get more users
• build features that we can sell to the user and be sure they are u
