3. HANDLING LAGGUAGE OF GUEST
Firstly take the guest out from the texi very safely.
Then take the guest luggage from the cab. Make sure
that the luggage is handling properly . No luggage of
guest is left in the cab. Handle the guest hand beg to
the guest.
4. TAKE THE GUEST TO FRONT OFFICE
After taking luggage of guest take the guest to the
front office. In the way ask the guest name and after
completing guest check in process tag the guest
luggage. Inform the guest that you will be taking care
of guest luggage.
5. PAGING
Apart from luggage handling the bell desk is also
responsible for paging a guest. The paging is a system
of locating the guest in the hotel. Many times the in
house guest expects a phone call or a visitor but
decides not to wait in to the room, might decide to go
to public area such as bar restaurant spa. In such cases
hotel request the guest to tell about his whereabouts
through a location from.
6. MAIL AND MESSAGE HANDLING
The bell desk function is also to handle or distribute
mail and message received by the front desk in the
absence of the guest to their respective rooms . Also
distribution of newspapers and magazines to various
rooms and areas of the hotel and keeping a record of
the same is done by bell desk.
