What is Digital Marketing ?
Marketing with the help of electronic devices - such as computers,
smart phones, cell phones, tablets and game consoles - to engage
with customers is called Digital marketing. Digital marketing uses
platforms like websites, e-mail, apps and social networks.
Today, Social Media Marketing is the main component of digital
marketing.
Difference between
Digital Marketing and Traditional Marketing
Traditional methods are expensive compared to digital marketing
channels. For many small businesses, the risks are often too high.
Traditional marketing channels fail to provide instant feedback,
reports, and data about marketing results.
On the other hand, digital marketing allows organizations to see
how a campaign is performing in real-time. For example: what’s
being viewed, how often, how long, as well as statistics including
sales conversion rates.
Why Digital Marketing for Business
I. Older generations used paper-based media: newspapers, books, TV
advertisements and radio broadcasts. But the modern generation has grown
up with mobile phones and internet (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
II. The new generation relies heavily computer technology for almost everything
